I've been looking for durable, but cute, hiking/water sandals for a minimalist trip to Europe next year. I also have very wide feet and a high arch. I fell in love with the Sanborn, so attractive and with a comfortable sole and good arch support. While the Sanborn's elastic straps accommodated my wide feet, they did not have sufficient stretch to allow for swelling in the heat or after a long hike. I was very disappointed to return the sandals. I ultimately purchased the Verra sandals which are very comfortable and work fine for my needs, especially with the adjustable strapping system. I just thought the Sanborn styling looked a little dressier for alternative wear with nice pants and dresses. A sizing note, I generally wear an 8W or 8.5W in shoes - Size 8 in both the Sanborn and the Verra was perfect, other than the width issue with the Sanborn. I did give 5 stars all the way around because the Sanborn is a great sandal, just not for my feet! And thank you, Zappo's, for your great sales and return process. You have a customer for life!

I bought these to wear on a trip and I am so glad I did. They were great in the rain, comfy to wear all day and looked fashionable enough to wear with a dress.

I’m looking for a sandal that can get wet, if necessary. These are very comfortable, but the straps across the front of the foot are not adjustable. My foot is not very narrow, but the straps are too loose for me. I’m returning them, as I want something that will secure my foot more than this sandal does. Worth giving them a try! The sole feels pretty comfy. I’m bummed!

Just what I wanted! Very comfortable and supportive.

I love these sandals. I will always seek out Tevas when searching for new sandals as they always fit my rather wide feet perfectly, have the right amount of support for my feet and are cute. I travel all over Europe with Tevas and never once had foot problems. They also dry quickly if waling through rain or wading in rivers.

Great sandals! My only minor issue was after walking in them all day they were cutting into my pinky toe on one side. No blisters, just the strap rubbing. Otherwise, great fit. I am 7.5-8 in sandals and 8 fit nicely.

Not only are they super comfortable but I absolutely love the style is well!

I LOVED these sandals! Fit true to size (9.5) and are very stable in and out of the water :) I wish they came in more colors!

I went on an 8 day Mediterranean cruise with an extra day in Rome. I needed something that would be comfortable for alot of walking and alot of walking over cobblestone streets and sidewalks. These fit the bill on both accounts. The were extremely comfortable I could wear them with almost everything. I also loved the adjustable heel strap. Quick and easy to slip on and off. My only negative comment would be the soles were lacking a little In grip which i mostly noticed on my last day when i was in Rome. It rained for a bit and the cobblestones got a little slippery once wet. I felt that I had to be a little more cautious while walking at that time. However, I would totally buy these again and I'm currently looking at some Tevas for my husband.

A big thumbs up on the design of this sandal. The straps across the top provide good coverage for the front of my foot, and the heel strap is nice and secure for long walks, with just one simple hook and loop closure to deal with. I probably would not have ordered pink if they weren't on sale, and they looked REALLY pink out of the box, but once you put them on, because of the two-tone straps on the top, they're actually quite cute. I think I'm going to enjoy walking in these.

The color "Walnut" is an ugly olive color. Nice sandals otherwise.

I'd been having ankle discomfort, but I can walk around on these all day without pain!

A great lightweight sandal with easy comfort strapping and a solid feel on (no slipping around if worn for rocky beach walks). They fit perfectly, but the strap length was too short and I envisioned everything sticking to the exposed velcro, so I am returning them!
