Yoga mat is much more comfortable than the tempur-pedic insoles. Two front sole columns wore out within 15 miles of walking. Support broke down before the first week with the shoe. Will not buy these again.

I had high hopes for this new model. Went ahead and bought 2 pairs of these GW4's. Different design, which is fine. The soles of the new model have a new material, seems more durable. But for whatever reason, this new design did not fit me as comfortable as the GW3's. These fit tighter, even gave them time to break in, to no avail. Created some discomfort due to fit. Maybe I am in the minority with the new design. IMHO, the GW3's work better for me. Had to return these.

All of the new Skechers products squeak on hard floors more than previous Skechers I have owned. Also for some reason they are very staticky, which I never experienced before. The previous "gogamat" insole was much more comfortable than the latest yoga mat insoles. And all of the memory foam products make my heels and my back numb. Unfortunately, Skechers has obviously started cutting quality in the name of profits. Too bad, they were once a great, innovative company.

Bought Go Walk lace-ups about three years ago, Go Walk Baby I think they were called, which were great for my wide feet and bunions. Stocked up with three pairs of those. Only downside was the soles wore down quickly.
Have just bought these Go Walk 4 Exceed and whilst they are comfortable, bunion wise, I don't like the look of them and they're higher/deeper than the Go Walk Baby.
They remind me of those funny wide shoes that the elderly wear (Cosy Feet?).
I guess Skechers have listened to what people want and this is the result.
I won't be buying another pair and I hope Skechers gets back on track with GW5.

Don't understand how on shoe is padded less than the other one. Check with your quality control division.

I have been wearing GOWalk 3 for several years and I will return to wearing them over these GOWalk 4's.
The 4's don't have enough cushioning or arch support for my foot.

The wide width was very narrow. More narrow than other Skechers shoes I have previously purchased.

I look forward to trying the next 1/2 size bigger. They seem like they will be nice once they fit.

I bought these hoping they would be an upgrade from the Walk 3 well they are not. They are not as comfortable and may be a bit ridgid. My ankles and fore front of my feet hurt after wearing them all day at work or walking around. I will be returning these and going back to the Walk 3.

I bought these shoes for zumba but sadly I've given up with them. For a sedentary life I'm sure they will be brill where activity is based on putting the kettle on, but any activities like modern dance they are a total waste of time. The problem lies with the inner sole which is about 5 mm thick. Your big toe will take it on itself to straddle the edge of this sponge material cliff where it will rub and rub again like a large sock crease. Maybe its total width of the inner sole that is the problem I don't know, but they are really a hallux hating horror.

This review is for the second pair I ordered with this one. The pictures and descriptions are so misleading. Second time I ordered shoes and got the kind with not laces. HATE them. I kept the first pair (don't wear them) I tried to call customer service. First on hold for 45 minutes, finally scheduled a call back. 6 days later, still waiting haha! I have only worn sketchers for years. Very comfy for my feet. I have always been unhappy with how quickly the soles wear out, but still bought due to comfort. After this lack of customer service, I am done!

Within one week of use, the insole of the shoe came separated. with in two weeks i had to keep adjusting it. The third week of use, i gave up and stopped using them. I would like my money back since it is not a well made shoe like the first generation of Go Walk or the third. Both lasted me over a year. This Go Walk 4, didn't last a week. The first two were made for walking, not this one. The sole also seems different and not very supportive.

I've owned every GoWalk since version 2, in multiples, and these GW4s are easily the worst. I put roughly 300 miles on these shoes in roughly 3 months and I walk daily and for long stretches at a time. I only put so many miles on these shoes because they were very expensive, and I was going to get my money's worth out of them. First, the impact is incredibly hard for a walking shoe. Softer than Nike's walking shoes, but much harder than GoWalk 3 (which I feel has been the far superior version). If you walk on gravel, little stones get trapped in the GW4's pillar gaps and then digs into the sole and makes it almost impossible to get it out. I never had this problem with any of the earlier versions of the GWs. There isn't even an increase in durability with this design over the GW3s because my GW3s lasted much longer than these.
I'm hoping the GW5s are better, because these are terrible. If you can, find GW3s or wait for the 5s to come out.

I received my Go Walk 4's. Immediately put them on and walked 3 miles. They were heavenly. Like strapping pillows on my feet. No rubbing and total comfort. I will be buying more pairs of this wonderful shoe!!

Used Go-Walk 3 for a couple of years with no problems and really liked them. Bought the Go-Walk 4 a few weeks ago and regret it. The shock absorbing pillars are reduced to running down the centre of the shoe. Two in sole area and two at back towards heel. This makes shoe unstable and reduces comfort and shock absorbing of the side area of the sole. Worn them for two weeks and heel pillars have worn out, side of sole sore due to lack of support. Also aesthetics are not as good as previous version, they look boring. I would not buy these again.

Purchased 3 weeks ago for work. The first week was heaven and then the shoe started to wear out The memory foam is already depleted and the lovely squishy buttons on the bottom of the shoe have already worn low on the upper shoe. Once the memory foam depletes, your feet will begin to hurt, specifically in the arch region. The shoe may be made for every now and then wear, but definitely not for a person who walks 8 hours a day.
