Fit is pretty accurate for the width but does seem a little short for the size, maybe a half size shorter. Has a Velcro strap that allows you to adjust as needed. Only real negative is the foot bed design causes a suction that sounds like your feet are farting. LOL I think I can add some mole skin or something to mask that. Not the prettiest shoe but when you are a beggar for shoes that fit, you can't complain too much.

I love these shoes!!! I have a wide foot and they fit beautifully and look great! Sometimes with a big, wide foot it feels like I'm wearing the shoe box :) These are very attractive, very light weight and have moderate arch support. Thank you Propet! Thank you Zappos!!

I recently had bunion surgery & needed a comfortable shoe with good traction instead of the stiff sandal that the hospital gives you. The shoe has lots of cushion, which I needed for my metatarsals. It has just enough give that I can slide my foot in it with the small bandage that covers my stitches. Even though it’s not the most stylish shoe, it looks good enough that I don’t look like my grandma.

I bought these in both silver and gold. Sending silver back, cute but a little to disco for me. I was impressed with instep height. I usual don't even try unless adjustable. But have other TravelActiv that adjust and really like how light they are so ordered hoping. They are wonderful for me but if you do not need extra height will find to loose.

These are very comfortable and felt good right away. Very cushiony on the soles, but I would like a bit more arch support. Still, very happy and will taking these to Greece for city walking. Nice and cool in warm weather with the mesh. Also super light weight.

Bought these in silver/8-1/2 Wide. The fit is perfect. Wanted a comfortable beach shoe for walking to the beach and one that I could also just rinse the sand off. The only thing I would change is the back strap that goes around the back of your heel is a little short with no stretch. It has a Velcro closure. It would be smarter for it to either be longer or have elastic. Other then that I am keeping them and hopefully be pleased. I have not worn them yet.

This is an ugly sandal but I was looking for comfort. It does buckle & not conform to your foot. No support at all. It was wide enough but too long

I have a narrow foot and some painful foot issues. This shoe is extremely comfortable and the velcro back strap makes for a secure fit with the support I need. Good for walking and standing. I love the look and I ordered another pair in a different color. Comfort, good fit (so hard for a narrow foot), and good looks - a trifecta!

This sandal is much lighter than I thought it would be, which I was very happy with this. I wanted a sandal that was easy to put on, but not a flip flop. They are quick and easy to put on. I ordered the sandal in wide and like others have indicated they do run wide, but for my foot it worked. For running errands they are fine. I don't believe they would give support for long walks or hikes vs. a sneaker.

These are the lightest sandals, almost weightless. Ordered in the silver for a little pop. It is a casual fun style for beach or daytime, to be used for hanging out. It is not a performance shoe.

I really liked them at first but then my foot started slipping around and kept twisting my ankle. I wish I could send them back but I have already wore them outside. Hard to adjust to Valco putting them on.

Very floppy shoe...more like a loose house slipper,runs at least a half size larger. Materials do seem cool on the foot.No fitting above the mid shoe, sort of like a "sack dress", with no waist.

I love my Propet sneakers and needed sandals that did not have straps across the foot (after surgery). I thought these would be perfect. Well...I ordered the same size as the sneakers - 9 W, but the fit is really strange - the footbed is the perfect width, but the fabric upper is WAY too voluminous - even with the back strap as tight as possible, there was a couple of inches of gap - room for a thick wool sock (or two), which is not exactly what I had in mind for a sandal. So unfortunately, they're going back :(

I was easily able to insert my prescription orthotics, so I would say there is no arch support, which is what I had wanted! They're lightweight and look nice to wear "out". Glad I tried them. Don't usually buy Proper.

Finally found a sandal that is wide enough for my badly swollen feet and ankles.

I ordered these a bit larger so as to make sure they fit my very wide feet. I would normally wear a 9 EEE; these are 10 EEEE. They work for me perfectly, as I like to use them indoors and wear bulky socks with them. The Velcro closure helps a lot. They may be a big too large to wear barefooted. Thank you.

I bought two pair as I like to alternate days of wear, did a 3 day walking tour of New York City and felt great each evening, exhausted from tour but my feet and legs did not hurt at the end of the day. The width was perfect and the support was great. I tend to twist my foot in the shoe/sandal as I walk, these held my foot in place and I didn't wear a blister or callous on the edge or bottom of my foot.

Bought these for my 97 year old mother. She is hard to fit due to severe swelling in ankles and feet. These have worked well and are very lightweight. She does have a bit of a problem getting the Velcro adjusted properly but would not be a problem for someone who is better able to bend over. I would recommend.

Fine shoe. I have used for pool shoes in the past. The sizes do wide a bit big.

I usually wear a size 8W and this shoe felt true to size. I have the silver color and consider it a neutral color. I love that the shoe is so lightweight, but I do not like the embarrassing sound they make when I walk! I feel like I need to wear a sign that says, "No, I am not passing gas!"

I love these shoes. They served me well all summer. I love flip flops but my feet don’t. These were a great substitute. Plus, if I got them dirty or sweaty, I washed it right off. Great shoe!

These were a gift to me and I love everything about them EXCEPT the fact the footbed is leather! Unless I have the back straps really tight, they make a noise like I am passing gas when walking. If these had a sponge footbed or microfiber footbed, I would rate them a 10. However, the "noise" problem when walking sometimes is embarrassing. I received my normal size 8W and they fit perfectly. As one reviewer stated, "they do look very wide." Due to my large bunions I need the width.

I am only leaving a review because I hope to help some future shoppers. I read many reviews before I ordered and still have to return but here is my experience. My left foot is a size 8 slightly wide and my right foot is and 8 1/2 wide. I have feet that are wider in the ball of the foot and toe area but average width heels. I don't have overly long toes, they are on the shorter side. After reading reviews that said this shoe runs long and wide I finally ordered the 8 W in Gold and Black. This did not work out. I don't think they run long at all, if anything I think the length is true to size. My bigger foot came to the tip of the shoe so that as I took a step the toes were over then end of the shoe. In fact my size 8 foot almost came to the end of the shoe but technically the 8 fit in length. As far as width goes these do run WIDE. I only ordered the wide and not the 2X wide and that width fit even my wider foot with extra room. I actually may be able to wear this in a medium width and I may try that. If I reorder I will order an 8 1/2 medium width, I can only do this because it is open toe. As far as the looks go I think it is a comfortable style and not ugly but it doesn't flatter or slim the foot. I am so desperate for shoes with deep toes and wide toe box that I would try most anything for comfort. The gold color was a good color kind of a cross between gold and khaki. All in all if it had fit I would have happily worn it and it would be worth the price.
