When I got the box from Zappos with my Alegria Camilles, I explained to my son that I needed a new pair of comfy sandals for walking the dogs on hot summer days. He said, "Mom, you bought another pair of shiny shoes!" I can't help it - I'm like a crow. I put them on and said, "These are so comfortable, I'm never taking them off." He said, "You're gonna need shoes for your shoes then." There's just one little problem: the top strap gave me humongous blisters on my very first walk! I put some moleskin on the straps and bandages on my feet, but I can only wear these shoes if I'm being carried in a palanquin. It bugs me, because I love them. I love the cool foil design on the straps, I love the squishy footbed and the rocker heel, but that strap is pure torture. It must come up higher on my foot than my usual sandals. Wish I knew how to fix it.

I am through with Alegria sandals. First of all the foot bed is always a light color and after a few months it becomes very dirty and looks awful. Second, in the summer months when there is any humidity your feet become very sweaty, which is gross. Thirdly, don't be walking with any briskness as you are likely to fall off the sandal. I have experienced this and don't like it one bit. I walk fast and these sandals do not give me the security I need. I cannot pay the high price for these sandals with all these issues. They do not work for me any longer

Unfortunately, I am unable to keep these shoes. The top of the strap over the toes rubbed the top of my my foot back from my toes, and then the back strap, where it is attached to the sole, rubs the inside of my arch. Very sensitive area, prone to blisters after just a bit of rubbing. I could not adjust the straps to solve the problem. Really cute platform with a subtle bling. I did not expect the straps to rub at all since there were no previous reviews stating this as a problem. Very comfortable, very easy to walk in, just not for my feet.

I absolutely love these sandals. They are so comfortable and very supportive. I only wish Alegria would change the color of these and most other Alegrias' foot beds a darker color to mask the feet as they imprint a nasty outline. My feet are always clean but they still put forth a nasty color that looks like you have dirty feet.

People have been recommending these shoes to me for years, and I am glad I finally listened. I had been wearing an aggressive rocker-soled shoe. These are light on the rocker, but still have some motion to relieve metatarsalgia. They don't have the foot-hugging support of a Birkenstock or Mephisto Zonder, but they also don't cause *any* of the problem areas of my feet to hurt. I like the velco straps; they allow me to adjust one shoe to accomodate a bunion and they are cut just low enough to not aggravate the hammertoe. In the past, I have had to buy Birks and have an extra hole punched in one of them to make this adaption work, so yea, Alegria! The foot bed is soft, but not squishy. I need a firm foot bed and this is just the right amount of cushion and will not crush into nothingness in a few months. And finally, style. After wearing prescription, rocker-sole, athletic shoes everyday for 5 years, for me, these sandals are chic! I'm also petite and I love that I am a couple of inches taller in these. I now own 3 pair (Wavy Navy, Black Stamps, and Earthen) and will buy more. The Navy goes well with almost everything blue I own, black...well, yeah, black goes with everything and Earthen is a good showy fit with the few brown outfits I wear. I'm not a fan of red, but do hope they have a lighter brown, or beige coming out soon.

I love the color and style but the top strap rubbed against my ankle and my pinky toe wanted to poke out the hole. They did not feel like they would get more comfortable and would probably cause chafing or blisters. The edges of the footbed wanted to stick up also. Sadly they will returned.

I love these Alegria shoes. The best part is I can buy replacement insoles for $25 whenever they wear down.

Wow, I love these Alegria sandals. Zappos knows how many I tried on before I selected this style. I agree with another reviewer that there is more of a shoe so the foot is more cradled and secure. And so soft. I prefer now the Velcro so one can adjust anytime, anywhere. I wish there were more colors to choose from. Maybe come out with a smaller heel. Sometimes I cannot walk as fast for fear of taking a fall.....balance issues sometimes. Otherwise, it is a great stylish sandal. I chose the blue......beautiful!!

The Midnight Camille is a shimmery shade of navy blue, just perfect for navy and white or navy suiting at work. The style is supportive and stays on - no break in at all.

Alegria is the only shoe I wear, whether it is sandals or clogs/mules. I have a room full on shelving. It is great that they are making more pretty sandals. I live in FL so I mostly wear sandals. I love the color of these shoes as well as the patterned strap. They are adjustable so can fit a bit wider foot. Very nice shoe, you won't be disappointed with them.

I have difficult feet. These are wide enough, adjustable, and very comfortable. The color choices are beautiful.

Loved these sandals but not enough cushion for me at all !

I purchased the sew cool navy. Loved the embroidery on it. It is a great looking sandal with great adjustability and the foot bed is comfortable and supportive. I found the sizing to be about 1/2 size too short though and had to send it back.

I really liked this shoe initially but after wearing around the house I had blisters on my toes where the strap rubbed.

The Camille shoe has a higher heel than the Victoria but, it doesn't bother me. It is a bit boxy but comfortable. I am a 7/7.5 wide and ordered the 37.

They’re great even though I have to return. My overpronation is too pronounced. Very light& comfy. Color is funz with my lighting shades of green & copper were the strongest. Great quality.

This brand has proven to be wonderful to my mistreated feet. If a shoe fits it often is not comfortable -but I have more luck with Allegrias than any other (Zappos has been wonderful to help keep me in shoes).Due to several foot surgeries my feet don't match which makes it difficult along with flat feet to find comfort. Surprise! This shoe feels great for my arches and my toes don't hang off one or the other. I am so happy as it looks good too. Thanks Zappos for being such a great place for me to get shoes.

I wear Algeria sandals almost exclusively, even while volunteering at the Cancer Center where I am on my feet for nearly 5 hours. The straps are adjustable and I feel secure about not falling off the shoes or tripping. I have Morton’s Neuroma in my right foot and RA in my knees. I was miserable before discovering Algeria sandals.

This is my second pair of Alegria Camille's and I absolutely love this shoe. I just wish there were more colors to chose from. The fit, support and comfort are just perfect. You won't be sorry with a purchase of the Camille!

This is my ninth pair of Alegria sandals, all in the Camille or Venice style. Most are colorful prints or designs, but I needed a solid black to go with several outfits. The Tile Me More Black color has tiny squares in a shiny texture that keeps the solid black from looking dull. I love the adjustable straps and perfect arch support of these two styles. People frequently ask what brand of sandals I'm wearing and where I got them. "Alegria and Zappos!!!"

The white was a little too bright for me. Wish they were in all in navy. LOVED the way they felt and fit!!!!

The Alegria Camille is the most awesome shoe! I purchased the Sew Cool Navy color and absolutely love it. The support and comfort of this style is outstanding and is wearable for an all day excursion right out of the box. i had no trouble with rubbing against my skin and causing discomfort. I have 8 or 9 pairs of Alegria's and this is by far my most favorite pair. I personally love the higher footbed style as they are like walking on air. I only wish you would offer more colors in this style, Zappos. I would love several choices in a neutral color and would purchase another pair if you had it. Don't hesitate to purchase the Alegria Camille. I think you will love this shoe!

Very attractive navy and white leather sandal.. The contrasting navy embroidery on the white leather is a modern touch that will be nice with white capris and skirts. As with my other Camille's, the fit is adjustable and comfortably supportive. Great summer sandal.

These shoes are so comfortable. I have bunions and hammertoes. With these shoes. have no pain walking. The sandals stay securely on the feet.

I love these sandals - I am getting ready for a trip and these will save my feet! One of the things I really like about them is that because the straps are adjustable I can get a good fit and they won't fly off. I ordered them in the pewter color and they are beautiful.
