These are good shoes for water: for canoeing, etc. For aquatic exercise I found them to be a bit heavy - there are no drainage holes in the bottom. That's not necessarily a disadvantage for other uses. Just be aware that they are not perfect for pool exercise.

I'm normally a 7.5 and the 7 fit perfect. These were comfortable and about as functional, cute and fashionable as you can get for a water shoe.

These water shoes are very comfortable, and while I bought them for an upcoming beach vacation (i.e. haven't worn them for their intended purpose yet), they seem like they'll perform exactly as expected. I usually wear an 8 or an 8.5 and I ended up with an 8 in these. FYI - for anyone choosing between these and the Surfwalkers, my husband bought both to compare and ended up keeping the knit ones because he felt like they'd drain better (plus the Surfwalkers seemed to run a bit smaller than the knit ones), though he siad both were comfortable.

I'm a 7.5 and ordered a size down after reading the reviews of the shoe being loose fitting. After I received the size 7 shoe I had to return it and get the size 8 because my feet were too long for the 7. I wish this came in a 7.5 because the 8 does feel loose. Regardless of the size, it did it's job and was comfortable as a boat shoe. I didn't jump in the water with them, so I can't say how they would fare for water sports. The simple look in the black and grey matches everything.

Too long and narrow for my foot. I normally wear an 8 medium so these did not work. They seemed comfortable though.

I bought this and the Speedo Tidal Cruiser and ended up returning the Surf Knit and keeping the other. The banding around the foot on this model is thin and scratchy. On the Tidal Cruiser it is much more comfortable. I also found the footbed on this model to be uncomfortable because it has a lot of texture that did not feel good under my bare foot. The fit was fine but those two issues just made this not so comfy. Shame because I thought the styling on this shoe was much nicer than the Tidal Cruiser. But comfort reigns supreme. I wear and 8 and the 8 was true to size. You have to wiggle it on, but that’s so it doesn’t fall off in the water.

The opening is extremely loose and stretched out. Theres no way these will stay on in the water.
