THis is my second pair. Last me for a few years. On my feet all day doing heavy stone grinding and never had a seam rip or split, just the sole wear out only because of all my walking mileage.

THIS BOOT DOES NOT "RUN LARGE" as it says it does on their (Dr. Martens) website. Every foot is different, but I wear a 9's in DM's and I ordered an 8 like the website specified. Putting them on I instantly noticed they felt too narrow and cause my small toe to press up against the steel cap. Making a return is always a pain, last time, I couldn't get my refund until two months after I made my return (Not w/ zappos, but DM's website). For some reason DM won't let you write a review on their website so with anything do your research using various sources. I cannot speak for the service of Zappos, but I am disappointed in DM that I have to make yet another return when I could be wearing these great boots. ORDER TRUE TO SIZE, better yet, go into a shop wear you can physically try them on.

I bought these boots in mid April and they are already falling apart. Both shoelaces have broken and one of the insoles are ripping apart. I will save myself the headache next time and stick with Keen's or Danner's. I am sorely disappointed by this product.

Very good looking shoes and seemed to fit well initially. After wearing them a couple days, I noticed my heel slipping around some in the left shoe which started a blister. No matter how I laced them I couldn’t get it to stop. They were the right size, must be some kind of design issue

Good so far. I happy.
