These fit true to size -- I'm a US 7 / UK 4 / EU 37 and these are spot on. I like the pebbly finish on the boots -- and the leather is fairly soft. The zipper helps with taking them off … but, for me -- I use the laces to put them on. I have a high instep and it's just easier to use the laces. These are Docs - same chunky look as always.

These boots are awesome. I wore docs in the 90’s and was feeling very retro so I impulse bought them! I love the side zip. No hassle with laces. The boots run large so definitely size down. The style is amazing. With cropped pants and dresses they are amazing. The comfort is always what I expect from good old Air wair! Definitely on point!

Love them, thick leather

Great fit, my feet are on the narrow side so they are a bit wide but I love them nonetheless!

Love the soft leather on these and the side zip. They're awfully cute, too. Like all Dr. Martens, they're heavy and never as comfortable as a Birkenstock or a good running shoe, but did you really expect anything different? I do have the same complaint that I've had forever with Docs: why no 1/2 sizes??!! The size 6 is a little small and the size 7 (my normal size) is a little big. Since I bought these for winter wear, I went with the larger size and committed to wearing thick socks. Maybe I'll be able to get a cushy sole insert into them that way, too.

I felt the toe box in these boots was shallow, too narrow across the TOP of my foot, did not squeeze the sides of my toes. I tried a different Dr Martin style (Newton 8-eye) and they fit entirely different. Much more toe room and very comfortable with my Protalus insoles in them. Comfortable with the insoles that came in them also but I needed more arch support for my Plantar Faciitis troubles. I feel that both styles of these boots feel to run a half size larger overall.

Much like the other reviewers, I also felt a pain in the top of my foot. I wonder if it has anything to do with arch height, or if it's an odd fit for everyone.

I was so sad these did not fit right! I ordered my normal size-- and they cut terribly across my footbed. I have literally been wearing docs for 20 years and always get the same size so I was so surprised by this. Zappos was lovely and swapped out for a bigger size-- which still was terribly tight across the arch/center foot area. Sadly I had to return which bummed me out since they were so cute and I was stoked on how easy they would be to get on and off with the zipper. Sad!

These boots are so tight across the top of my foot that they hurt to walk in! I have several pairs of dr martens and these fit so much different that my other ones! I cannnot imagine anyone being able to comfortably walk in these boots?! I love the look, but they are so uncomfortable I have to return them, which makes me sad.

Beautiful pebble leather, looked well-made. But a British size 3 was much too tight for my North American size 6.5 feet, even though the 4 was too big. Oy, sizing.

I purchased this shoe in a size 8, which is my usual size and they felt gigantic. I returned them and ordered a smaller size. I received a box for the pascal with zip, but inside the box was a completely different boot, clearly a return that had been placed in the wrong box and never checked. Returned again and no repurchase this time.
