I took my normal size 7 of these and they fit great. I tried both a 7 and an 8 because I can be different sizes in different brands. For whatever reason, the 8 was wider and taller than the 7. Not sure why, but I ended up keeping the 7 because I much preferred the feel of them.

These boots are so comfortable and easy to take on/off, which was an annoyance I had with the taller version hunter boots. I also really like the "refined" look, they are super chic and are perfect for my commute into work on rainy days or running errands on the weekend. I was worried about the width being too narrow but they feel like the same width as the traditional Hunter boots. These are a must-have for Spring!

I really love these boots, they are defined and are tighter on the top of your arch but still comfortable- with that said thou I'm not really sure you can fit the sock in them.

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas she loves them but they do run smaller than the regular hunter boots so she had to size up.

I absolutely love the profile of these boots! They also fit more narrow than other styles of Hunter rain boots which is perfect for my foot. This style fits true to size so you do not need to size down. I always wear a 7 in other shoes and a 7 in these fit perfectly with enough room to add socks. And the style looks so much more polished than the original in my opinion!

loved the look - just a bit tight over the top of the foot

This boot fit nicely however it’s not as pictured. The Hunter logo is in navy and blends in with the boot rather than standing out like all other Hunter boots. I’m fine with this but something to note if you care about having the colored Hunter label on the top front of boot.

I love the style and the quality is excellent. I definitely like the look of the refined short boot over the original. The fit however is tighter in the foot bed than the original. I am usually a size 9 but had to size up to a 10. The 10 is a wee bit too big but with a thicker sock will be fine.

LOVE almost everything about these boots… EXCEPT for the fact that the Hunter label is not the same as the one pictured. The pair I received has the navy subdued label. Disappointing as I’d prefer the original as this one just make the boots very generic. Not sure why Zappos hasn’t updated the product image. Seems like an easy fix.

The photo on Zappos was different than the actual boot. The front label is solid blue - Was supposed to be white trimmed in red on the label on front of the boot. Also do not like, no support and no lining, not what I expected out of a $169 rain boot, will be returning.

These run much smaller than the classic tall boot and not as comfortable. I ordered this one and the packable short boot. Kept the packable and returned these. Order a size up from the recommended.

I sized up to an 11 based on the previous reviews because I'm at the large end of a size 10 (length-wise). They still ran narrow and were uncomfortable across the top of my foot, and I don't have wide feet, so I'm returning them.

I had the same experience as the reviewer who said her boots cracked on the sides. I owned mine for about 5 years before this happened. In a short period of time, they had multiple side cracks, on both boots. I had to throw them away. Disappointing, as I'm sure I paid full price for these and was expecting them to last a really long time. Feel like a chump. I suspect this happens because these have a flatter profile than standard Hunters, which look like they're built to rock vs. bend. Oh, well.

Would Have preferred off these boots to fit closer around my legs and that Hunter would carry half sizes.

I always wear a size 6 and my width is average. This pair in size 6 is too long. The toe area has way too much empty space yet the width is unusually narrow. Unfortunately I have to return them.

Boots were huge and not useful

The item looks nothing like it does in the picture. Even the white rectangular “Hunter” logo on the front of the shaft was not there. Logo was all black, which made them look like a knock off.

I waited for these for about 5 days, when I finally opened them. The hunter boot logo was not as shown in the picture. It was plain black and maid the boot look like a knockoff.
