I bought the Tieland OTN boots and was impressed with their comfort during long walks, even with the mid-height heels. They're great with dresses and skirts, adding a dressy touch. I personally would not pair them with jeans or leggings. A downside is that they don't stay up well, and cloth tape didn't help, so I'm giving them 4 stars. The boots are pretty, make your calves look slimmer, and are made of soft, breathable suede. Just remember to use a suede protector spray for damp weather. Overall, a stylish and comfy choice with a minor fit issue.

The Tieland boots are very beautiful, the suede is pitch black and soft, exactly as I wanted, though possibly high maintenance. My legs are thin, so the shaft fit me perfectly, although, if not tied tightly, they may slide a bit throughout the night. Runs true to size, I chose size 8.5 my regular shoe size. The only downside, specially for the price is that at 26 years old, I found them to be extremely uncomfortable to walk in and use. I wore them to a party for over 5 hours and minutes in my feet were already hurting as these boots do not offer any support whatsoever. The whole time I was wishing I had a thick gel shoe insert to make the high discomfort bearable. The issue here is not the heel height as I found the heel wearable. The problem is the interior design of the shoe, which makes the foot slide down and arch in a weird way. The interior where the feet go also feels flat/hard. There's no cushion so for walking, dancing these boots are simply not good. I'm dissapointed I'll have to invest even more money on high quality, thick shoe inserts to remedy this issue. I can't see myself wearing them again until I find the inserts as the boots really left my feet hurting.

My first ever purchase from S.W were the Tieland boots in black suede in February 2023. I really like the style, runs true to size as I chose my usual size 8.5 in regular and they fitted great, even with thick socks. The heel was really comfortable and the shaft was mega fitted, which was nice because I have thin legs/ thighs. A pleasant surprise was that the ties were made of suede, offering a grip to the knot so that it wouldn't be easy to unravel. The only reason for returning was that the pair I received had an unfortunate sticky/rigid feel to the suede throughout the entire pair as if it had been treated with a sticky protectant, for example. In short, upon caressing the suede the pile was resisting and felt "flat", not "velvety". Very few areas had soft suede where the pile was smooth, matte black and felt velvety as one would expect. The "sticky" sections turned grayish if touched/caressed/rubbed and made it very easy for lint to get stuck on the boots. Removing the lint on those areas was close to imposible and was simply making the suede worse. Not even 7 minutes into opening the box, the boots already looked old and used because of the sticky suede. The "untreated areas" still looked really nice, new and it was easy to remove the lint. I couldn't justify paying such a hefty price for a pair that simply looked old, rubbed within minutes. I feel the pair I got might have been a defective one because otherwise I can't explain why the suede was "sticky" / rough while a few areas were not? I was VERY disappointed and put the boots right into the box for returning. I would still recommend the boots and plan on getting another pair. For reference, I'm 142 pounds, 5'7" tall and the shaft hit about 2.6" inches above my knee, more or less; I thought it was sexy and suitable for casual and/or dressy outfits.

The boots are beautiful, so easy to style. They do run big, I have to exchange the size 7 to 6.5. I'm 5' 2" 134lbs, with thick legs. What I love is that they are so comfortable.

When opening the box, I thought they sent black by mistake. The grey in the picture looks light. In person it is almost black. They look very dark grey/brown. So, if you wore them with black, they would look off/faded black. They also run a little small (maybe unless you have a narrow foot). I wish I had purchased half a size larger. Maybe they just aren't a great fit for me. Sad I can't exchange for a larger size. No more shopping online!

I am a 7.5 in Adidas, 38.5-39 in Jimmy Choo and Valentino, 9 in Casadei, 39-39.5 in Christian Louboutin and 39.5 in Dolce & Gabbana, and have Tieland in black in 38 and grey in 37.5. And I gotta tell you that 37.5 fits much better, especially on thighs (I am 5'6 tall and 123 lbs on average (vary from 119 to 126), 37.5 is perfect. However, these boots will slide down when you get out of the car. I live in LA and drive 98% of the time (unfortunately), and when I get out if the car, I always have to pull these up. Also, after walking for about 10-15 minutes I have to pull them up again. A good option is to use double tape, but it doesn't work if you have to sit down and get up and sit down and get back up again... So I'm a little annoyed that these are not as stiff to stay up, but at the same time - what better options are there? These make my legs look amazing! And just for that I can live with having to pull them up every 10-15 minutes (ugh). Well. They are very well made!!!

Do not recommend for slender calves/thighs. Ordered 7.5 M which fit in the foot, but the shaft was very wide and did not hug my leg. Wish able to order regular foot width with narrow shaft. Sad to return but too big in leg to wear.

I'm not 100% sure how I feel about these yet. Something that bothers me is that the ankle area isn't tight/fitted enough. I always buy a narrow size because I'm naturally thin and this brand used to do such a great job with getting the fit right around the ankle area for narrow boots. I'm a little disappointed. It looks somewhat bunchy or loose in that area. I guess I'll have to figure something out and layer a sock or something

I like the pattern and style but it keeps falling down throughout the day. I don't know how to fix it.

Looking for the camel colour as in photo. The actual boot is more of a brown with peachy undertones. Not quite the colour I was looking for. I own this boot in other colors - comfortable fit.

The boot it self is beautiful I do wish I'd gone with the wide for a little more room over the knee. The color is almost black it definitely is not as pictured on the website if these were not final sale I would have returned them for that reason only. I really was hoping they'd be the color as shown..,

Boots look great, as expected but had a musky smell to it (not the usual leather/new shoe smell - I've purchased from this company in the past). Phoned customer service who advised me to spray perfume on it.
