I usually buy New Balance because they typically run a little wider than other shoes. I ordered the 2E and they definitely did not even come close to being a wide shoe.

What happened to New Balance?
All of their shoes are for people with high arches and skinny feet. They used to be my favorite, now I cannot wear even the wide. What a shame

Reviewed at New Balance
I loved the first two editions of the 1500 series, but the latest installment is stiff and uncomfortable. I gave them a couple hundred miles, but still they do not have the same snap that the v1 and 2 had, I find my feet hurting a lot more post runs and never had this problem before these shoes. NB please return to the old 1500 fit and design for the next version.

Zappos is great. I have no complaints with them. The shoes, though...I have purchased New Balance running shoes the last 2 years for my running 'season'. I'm a senior and have a weird sized foot. 13 EE. I run a sub 2 hour 1/2 marathon, so I need a decent shoe. For some reason, New Balance thinks they need to totally redesign their shoes and resize them. I tried on two different pairs and neither fit or feel right. The 1500v3 feels like an 11 Narrow. Ridiculous. Thanks to Zappos for providing this service, but I'll have to go find another brand of shoe.
