I found this shoe to be very adjustable. My left foot is nearly a half size longer than the right foot, and my right leg is over an inch longer than my left leg; I buy sandals and shoes with removable insoles so I can add a half inch clear plastic lift between the outer and inner left shoe soles. The longer straps on this shoe allow me to accommodate the extra lift in the left shoe, as well as adjusting the back strap for the shorter right foot, so the arch support is comfortable for both feet, and to be snug around my narrow heels. This shoe is wide enough for my wide front feet, and the straps are the perfect length for this. I bought the black shoe with the black outer and inner soles, and find that my lift is almost invisible. The straps are very soft, even softer than nubuck. I like that the black insole color does not rub off on my feet. I own many of the older Ecco shoes, and the Babette sandal is one of my favorites. I was unhappy to discover that the leather version of Babette doesn't stretch enough for the strap over the toe to stay fastened, which is a great tripping hazard. I think the feel of the two shoes is comparable, so I'm happy to have this soft sandal available, while I hope both models will offer nubuck at some point since it stretches better. I also hope for darker color outside soles since my experience with the lighter colors is that the shoe looks very dirty very quickly and doesn't clean up well. I've walked miles on sidewalks, streets and in malls with this shoe, and have felt the soft sandal is very comfortable. I have not as yet tried them on cobblestones or uneven foot paths, so I can't speak to how they would hold up or whether they would support the feet well enough.

This is a very nice sandal, but was just a little too wide for my narrow feet and lacking in stability. Most people The would probably find this sandal to be very comfortable though. The Ecco Offroad Yucatan Sandal seems to give me a little better support so I will keep that style.

I like Ecco sandals with adjustable velcro straps because I have wide feet.

The straps cover my baby toes. I prefer shoes that allow my toes more freedom.

These shoes are very comfortable but I had to return them because the adjustable straps were too long when adjusted to my narrow feet. All three just stuck out straight and looked really weird. Great shoes for a wider foot.

I have other Ecco sandals in this style and I used to have a pair of red suede Ecco sandals in red. I thought these might be a great replacement. The style and fit are great, the red is very bright. I'm keeping the shoes, but the color is not subtle.

I bought these in another color last summer and wore them often. They are very comfortable.

I wear 10B and it fits perfectly. I bought the same style Ecco about 3 years ago, they are light beige color and the footbed is also light. Being sandals, and at times walking in sand with sweaty feet, the footbed would get dirty and look bad when I'd take the shoes off. I found it impossible to clean even with the cleaner suggested by Ecco. My new black and navy sandals have dark footbeds, so I bought those colors. The sole of the shoe is thick and well designed so as to be very comfortable walking shoes, and I like the adjustable velcro straps which make the shoes fit snugly. I hope Ecco never discontinues this style because it is the only sandal I have found to be comfortable for long walks and taking a lot of wear and tear.

Great sandals! Each strap can be adjusted to ensure that they fit perfectly. Insole is attached with Velcro and can be replaced.

This style looks much better on the foot than pictured. It is completely adjustable and very comfortable. It seems like a shoe for all day.

Bought this in Warm Grey to wear to a wedding with a long flowing outfit. It is actually more silver with gold tones than grey--it went very well with a blue-grey fabric and gold jewelry. Got drenched going into the wedding but the shoes dried out fast, danced all night, and still look brand new. I have a narrow foot so I needed to use the velcro straps tight but they worked fine.

Kept the black pair, returned the red pair. I was hoping for fun red sandals but the red was too candy red...not classy or cool. Kept the black. I wore them yesterday and they are very comfortable. The straps adjust nicely to my foot, which gets narrower to the heel. I love Ecco brand...I have 4 other pairs, all men's versions because I am size 12. Happy to fit a women's version of an Ecco shoe, as I am hoping for comfort with a bit more style for a trip abroad.

The leather on this shoe is exceptionally beautiful! Sadly I cannot keep it due to having metatarsalgia. Though there is a reasonable amount of insole cushioning, it's just not enough for my very picky feet. I think most people would be thrilled to have this very stylish and comfortable shoe. In fact, it's very hard for me to return it!! I've been ordering gobs of shoes lately (thank you Zappos!) and this sandal has, hands down, the nicest leather I've seen so far.

These fit well, as mortal Ecco shoes do. The 3 bands give good support. Each of the band and the strap around the ankle is adjustable with hook & loop fasters, so it allows for a perfect fit. The only issue is that the color is goldish, not gray or silver, as the name would imply. Not a problem for me, but it could be for someone else.

I bought my first pair of sandals last year and I really enjoyed them. Last years style had straps that were kind of long so they stuck out a little on the side. I just got a new pair this year in another color and the straps are shorter and they lay down nicely on the sandal. They have a nice arch support and the foot bed gets softer as you wear it. I usually buy the 7.5 in the Ecco sneaker but in the sandal I get the 8-8.5 because I like my toes to be on the foot bed and no rubbing on the front strap. I don't care that they may be just a tad long, the comfort is more important to me and my toes. I can walk all day in these and not have any problem. I have arch problems and these work great for me. I think I'll get one more color and wear these all summer.

I was excited to try on the issue, hoping it would be as good as my other Eccos I recently purchased. But I found this shoe to be very difficult to fit and hard to make it conform to my foot. The straps felt stiff and uncomfortable. I'm sending it back.

Love these. Perfect for a wide foot that's almost impossible to please. Super light. Straps adjust well. Leather is soft. Arches feel nice. The family fashion vetter says they're cute. I think these are the summer sandals I was seeking.

i found these sandals to fit well, attractive and easily withstood several miles of walking during a recent trip. The reviews convinced me that these sandals could stay up to alot of walking, however, after only having these sandals for less than a week and on the third day of my recent trip, i noticed a rubbing against my ankle and discovered 3 of the side straps attached to the heel strap had separated from the heel strap therefore causing the problem. I did not reorder for fear of encountering the same situation and i needed a sandals that could stand up to to lots of walking.

Straps are... different. Difficult to adjust, no guidance or loop to pull against. Careful, tedious adjustment will allow good fit and hide the velcro of the bottom strap. Less arch support than what I hoped for but adequate a day at the office. Good heel "bounce". Removable insole allows insertion of 1/8" heel lift. Insole tops require wire brushing after wear to remove marks, leather would have been a better option than faux suede. But, for problem feet they are a decent, dressy option. Bought black and mid- gold.

I usually wear a 8.5-9.0 and have wide feet. The 8.0-8.5 fit well; the 9.0-9.5 was big. Shoes were very comfortable.
