I also ordered one size down and loved the fit. Thought these were keepers but, as another reviewer said, the place where the tongue is sewn in was digging into my left toe joint and no amount of adjusting the laces made a difference. Sad to see them go. Chic and very supportive sneakers.

I have two foot conditions: arthritis in the ball of my foot and a neuroma (nerve issue) in the other. It's very hard for me to find shoes that I find comfortable. These have good arch support, which is nice. They are well-made and sharp looking. I wore them around the house today and finally concluded that they have to go back. The sides, near my ankle bones, are a bit too high to be comfortable for me. Other than that, they'd be perfect.

These are super sleak and stylish and have mild arch support. My only issue was I tried to wear them with dress insoles/orthodics and they became a little too high in the arch. If you are buying wear as is they are perfect!

I wear a size 4, 4.5 shoe so I ordered the 35 as described for a size 4.5. It was huge and more like a US size 6. Very surprising. However, it's a gorgeous, silver sneaker and oh, how I wish it fit.

Disappointed that, unlike their other styles, the black leather in this shoe was a matte leather instead of the slightly shinier version. Makes it look more old lady and less fashionable. The descriptions of the leather type is the same across styles, so I’m not sure why they would be different.

Love Ecco products and normally have great experiences. Loved the look of these sneakers. BUT, the seam over my big-toe joint was too thick and hurt.

I bought these to replace a pair of ECCO sneakers that I wore and wore until the heel was worn down. These are very similar but have a sleeker look. BUT...the tongue seems to be longer than usual and jabs into the front of my ankle on one shoe. I've never had this problem with a shoe before. I'm going to wear them around the house a bit more to see if the tongue loosens up before I decide whether to return them. Another negative about them...they have very thin, rounded laces that I can barely tie in a half bow once I get the shoe on. I have a narrowish foot and an average instep so the problem is with the length of the lace. The lace holes are quite small, so I don't think I can replace the lace with a regular lace. On the positives, they are really nice looking shoes, comfortable (except for the tongue), and the color (gravel) is a perfect neutral.

This shoe indeed feels narrower and stiffer than my other Ecco shoes. Also, the white is not really white. I really wanted a pair of white sneakers...

I love these shoes. The material is of high quality and the sole is so soft. I usually wear a size 5.5, but for these shoes even the smallest size runs big on me, so I have to return it. How I wish they the shoes can run half-size down.

I normally wear a 6.5-7 and I knew to size down because the European shoes run bigger. I was bummed because I love the look of these shoes I think the overall fit just isn't working for me because my foot also is narrow. The shoe was just too big all the way around.

I am a card-carrying Ecco groupie. And although my first love is clothing, I own about 25 pairs of Ecco's and not much else. They seem to fulfill most of my footwear needs. (With a few Naot's and Birkenstocks thrown in for diversity.)
But these are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever tried on. They bend kind of funny at the toe area when walking and I actually found them painful. They are just not designed right.
I had to send them back even though the style looked great. But comfort is what I am after first, looks second.
I wear a size 41 and have a fairly narrow foot.
