I have been wearing Zante's for years. There is something off about the v3 or maybe just the pair I got. The left pair came up too high under my ankle bone and rubbed (I've never had this problem in any other pair of shoe) Also, the holes for the shoelaces were almost nonexistent and difficult to thread. Just weirdly made. I was very disappointed and had to return.

The fit of this shoe was fine but it makes your foot tilt forward, diving into your toes. They also didn't have as much cushion as I was expecting from the picture. I tried to wear for about 5 minutes and my feet were sore after. Terrible shoe for me- wouldn't even try running in these.

The shoe has a very shallow instep, so it does not provide great stability or support. Also, I would say it is a half size to full size small. I usually wear an 8.5-9 but I would order in a 10 if I were to buy it. Returning it because it was ill fitting regardless of sizing issues.

This version, to me, feels totally different than the Zante 2 which I absolutely loved. The footbed is narrower, even though I ordered a wide. Very disappointed in this new version.

I DO NOT recommend these sneakers if you are a remotely serious runner. I have run in New Balance for years and purchased these to train for a half marathon that I have run for the past four years. I'm usually very careful and gradual with my training to avoid injury and these have caused me problems from the beginning with heel pain, no arch support. They are inflexible and the foam is too hard, it does not act as a proper shock absorber. Unless you are wearing them for style, not function, avoid.

Was really dissapointed to have a tear in the heel cup after only 6 miles of running in San Francisco sunshine. I had high hopes for Zantes after having multiple pairs of kinvara disappointed me. Really bummed that these shoes fell apart so easily.

I have a wide foot & a high instep. The tongue is attached on the sides & it was too tight to even put on!

I'm on my second pair of these shoes. I had to throw out the first pair after the heel wore out in the back of my left shoe after only 40 miles running in them. The heel would push in and even though I would push it back out, it would return to being pushed in. I was outside the stores 30 day return policy, and even though I was told they were defective, I had to buy a whole new pair. The heel is starting to push into my heel on this pair as well. It causes pain and swelling if I run too long in them. This is a frustrating defect and I would not buy these shoes again. I am very disappointed in these shoes.

I wanted some lightweight running shoes for traveling. They aren't for aggressive use but more for daily walking and short 2 or 3 mile morning runs every day or two. They fit well, and more snug to the foot as expected. But I walked on a treadmill for 4 miles and then ran just 1 mile. The next day my left arch was hurting noticeably. I switched back to my older trail runners for 2 days until my foot felt better. Then I tried these again for a 1 mile walk. No good. Maybe I have a defective pair. The left shoe feels like there is a huge arch in it which causes a recurrence of the pain. I've tried switching out with various inserts and even walking around the house with them on with no insert whatsoever to see where the excess arch support is coming from. It seems to be built right into the shoe. I do feel a slightly higher arch than what is expected for NB shoes in the right shoe. But not uncomfortably so like the left shoe. I shouldn't need to get used to the arch of a shoe as if it's getting used to a cycling seat. I'm not sure what to do about this since NB says shoes must be in the same condition as new if returning them. I think I'll have to call and find out. This is one horrible feeling pair of shoes. I really wanted some lightweight, plain black runners for ease of travel.
