The straps near the toe need to be longer. The straps are too short to go comfortably around a very wide foot.

For a hard to fit foot - 11EEE with high instep, these were just what my husband needed. The Velcro adjusts nicely for a good fit. He said they feel comfortable and it was the type of sandal he wanted for the hot summer months.

So far they are holding up well, and are very comfortable. My main gripe is the hook and loop (Velcro ™) fastenings. I HATE Velcro fastenings on most things—most overused material in the world. The loop side always wears out, and if put on something that can stretch, like leather sandal straps, eventually they can no longer be pulled tight enough for a secure fit. Unfortunately, the only way to get buckles or laces (like ancient Roman military sandals) is to make your own or get a ridiculous "style" with no durability.

I was surprised by how well they fit, and how true to size. My only complaint is the use of hook and loop fasteners—most overused fastening system known to humankind. These always wear out long before the article of footwear (especially) or clothing. I'll have to replace the stuff on these long before anything else gives way. Also, shoemakers have apparently forgotten how much the human foot varies from person to person. If these straps stretch (they will) the hook and loop will no longer overlap. But other than the fastening, they're very nice.

I bought these for my husband who has a wide food and has recently had some swelling with all this heat. I knew he needed the EEE width. He is very happy with them. Plenty of room to adjust the ankle and toe straps. Very reasonable price.

These run VERY large. I normally wear size 9-1/2, but eventually settled on size 8 (!!!) in these sandals.

Overall the sandal is a good fit and a nice style. There is one problem. Because of the wide width it appears that the crossover straps were never increased in length. The instep strap should be at least another inch longer. Can barely get velcro to velcro when adjusting the strap. Barely a quarter inch overlap.

I have edema and the ankle strap was not long enough to reach.

I owned a wonderful pair of Propet sandals several years ago. I loved them. They lasted for a long time. They are a durable shoe. I am a woman who has to buy men's shoes on occasion. due to inability to find the correct size. My foot is 10 inches long now. It really grew as an adult. I understood I might grow because my growth was stunted. I did not understand how much sizing was messed up in SHOE LAND. My feet fit in shoes ranging from size 10 to 11 in women's sizes and size 9.5 for men's size shoe. Many stores do not carry women size 11. I bought men's size 9.5. They are almost an inch bigger all around than normal shoes I have bought in men's size. I think they are comfortable. They really were purchased as my expensive sandal. I am annoyed about them being too big. I think they may look good when I wear socks with them. Now, they look big. There is an extra half inch at my heel and almost an inch from my big toe to the edge of the shoe. I will wear them. I want a more feminine durable sandal that fits me perfectly. These should last and they are good sandals. That's it for my review.

The shoe was had to put on and take off easily.

I ordered a 9 1/2 3E. I normally wear a 4E, but this one felt half a size too short and the width felt more like a D. I ordered a 10 5E and it fits nicely. The sandal is moderately comfortable. The first time I wore it for an extended period was for a day at an amusement park. I spent a lot of time walking and standing and my feet were a little sore. This could certainly use a little more cushion. I'd give it a B- on comfort and a B+ on style. This shoe replaces another Propet sandal.

Not well made. they fall apart rapidly, velcro replaced twice in 6 months & now glued-on leather straps pull away from sole ( see picture) Should have been stitched.

Universally used indoors. Lasted 5 months until the left side separated from the sole. Velcro was wearing out..So not very well made..

I have to pull the straps very hard to ensure stability. I've wound up with painful sides of big toes because of this and am considering sending them back.

The material felt cheap and was very comfortable. These were not in anyway like my previous Propet sandals.

I bought these extra width sandals in an attempt to compensate for my very high arch/instep. Unfortunately, even these did not provide enough strap length to adequately close on my foot. I had to post-engineer the straps with double sided `velcro' in order to wear them. I hope manufacturers read this and help all of us with swollen feet or high insteps by adding an extra inch or so to the straps.

Size 13 xxw or 5E -Not! What a shame. Leather straps to secure velcro are too short and made the knuckles (or Balls) of my feet hurt. Just another 1.5 or 2 inches would have made these fit. I would be buying a second pair! Good looking sandal. Propet Konas fit great. Please fix this problem

The sandals seemed nice and reasonably comfortable at first. However, even though this was a wide size, the small toes felt compressed, making them impossible to wear.

Hook and Loop strap closures wear out after 3 months. Tried 2 pair--same problem. Not worth the money.

Husband wears 10.5 4E usually, Ordered a 10.5 5e, just to be safe. While the width on the footbed was ok, the velcro on the strap across the arch did not even come close to meeting each other rendering the sandals unwearable for him. If you have high arches or "Fred Flintstone" feet like he does, try a different sandal.

I'm giving these shoes 1 star because even though they look and feel good, the man made materials on the sole/inner portion of the sandal make your feet STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN. I have never worn shoes that made my feet smell like this. It is not normal. I wish I could return them, but I didn't know how horrible they were until after wearing them, and the return policy states they must be unworn... Not happy with this purchase at all. Would not recommend at all.

these shoes are total junk . Walmart and volume shoe source sell better quality for less money. next propet use to make assome sandals that were of superior quality and fit. yet these are total junk not true to size and are just total garbage. propet should be ashamed to even put there name to this garbage and i will never buy are recommend propet to any one as there total garbage and not a quality product

My son has worn these shoes three times. Tonight as he was walking the sole just totally became unglued. I am SO disappointed!!! Should these shoes be returned? Please advise next step. Thanks Claudia Haynes
