The back curve of the heel has a very short lip on it. If that were higher it would act as a support, and if it were lower it would be below the cushion. Unfortunately it is at a height that causes the heel to land on it and it feels like an edge.

Poor quality. 3 months of wear before it's falling apart (mid April - mid July). Nice to have extra width, but NOT a great sandal if you plan to wear it outdoors. Going to try the Dunham Newport Slide Water Friendly to see if it's more durable.

the Propet Vero fit good width and length. No arch support, and uneven foot bed, no support on the outside of the foot. Both feet felt sore after a couple days wear in house.
