I hesitate to buy shoes online but with free return gave it a try. My foot size is 11.5 so I usually need 12 size shoe. I also have wide feet. I ordered 12 EE Wide. Perfect fit and great boot. Very sturdy, very comfortable, and not too heavy. Had them for almost a year and they show almost no wear. Overall great value. Once I find a brand I like I stick with them. Hope Sketcher keeps the quality high.

I've read reviews referring to these as boots, To me they feel more like a high top sneaker with a tread that works in the city and the woods, just my opinion. Reebok discontinued my trusty Royal Trainers which was one of the few offerings the had in wide. In today's culture of recreational outrage can I call this "Foot Shaming"? Forget i even asked, lets move forward. My search for wide footwear brought me across these skechers and so far i'm rather pleased. They are wide enough for me without being too wide. The memory foam insert is comfy. They look good. And i prefer them over the wide New Balance sneakers that I also tried for a few months. It's too early to tell how they will hold up, but if you have wide feet your options are limited so i'm just happy to find a new sneaker that fits me without breaking the bank.

These Skechers Afterburns fit very well. The memory foam inner sole really is like walking on a cloud. Happy camper!

Zappos is an AWESOME company! I purchased shoes several months ago that got damaged and were causing pain when I wore them. I called Zapps to see if they could be repaired, at my cost, and they did something amazing. They told me to return the old shoes and sent me a brand new pair, at no cost to me! This is the GREATEST company ever!!! The shoes were Sketchers, which I love for their comfort and design, so thats a given but ZAPPOS is the BEST! I have bought shoes from them in the past but they have won a customer for Life! I also just bought my wife a pair of UGGS on sale. The sale price was half of the local price. I love Zappos!

Especially for the money, I love these shoes. They are very comfortable right out of the box. I walk on a rocky path every day next to my home, and these shoes soak up a rocky surface so you don't notice it. Love these Sketchers1

Now let me start off by saying I started off looking for a high top sneaker, but I have a 2e width so good luck finding that. I got a job where I was standing all day and my feet killed me like NEVER before, never had I felt pain like this. The job had a nurse on staff and she gave me things to help but suggested to me to visit an orthopedic store and my feet hurt soooooooo bad I listened. Now I seen an ad that said 90% of Americans are wearing the wrong sized shoe, I thought how crazy is that, how stupid could you be. Well, I found out how stupid, as stupid as me. I had a wide foot and never knew I just thought shoes had to stretch out a bit, not that I was too dumb to get a good fitting shoe. So now that I know this I can't pay hundreds of dollars to buy the wrong thing, if I'm paying this much it had better be correct. So needless to say I go looking for a hightop and store after store had nothing that looked good that wasn't $230 or up, and even those didn't fit in width. So I went back to the orthopedic store and they looked at all their catalogs and couldn't find anything except a hiking shoe which might technically be a high top but wasn't what I wanted. But they turned me onto zappos.com and now I can't see going back to a regular brick and mortar store ever again. With free shipping and free returns, you can't go wrong. Now I looked for a couple hours at page after page of shoes and it seems nobody makes a wide high top, at least not one I found. So I did end up with a hicking shoe to get the high top look but its not what I wanted. There is nothing wrong with this shoe, it fits and feels good and I can't find anything to complain about, other than it's not what I was looking for. But my goodness the price was so good I'm happy with it even tho it wasn't what I wanted to start with. Now the only complaint I can make it the emails, oh my lord the emails. in less than a week (maybe four or five days) they sent me seven emails, I had not even gotten my shoes yet and the constant bombardment of emails it insane. You want to send me one a week (which is still a bit much) fine, but more than one a day is nuts. one day I got three, three in one single day. It is really the kind of thing that would make me never want to shop with them but I'm so happy that I'm overlooking it at this point....AT THIS POINT that is, this may change. But if you are looking at this shoe, go for it because as I said I went looking for a reason to not like this shoe and cant find one. And the price was so good that I'm actually liking the shoe and zappos, maybe more than I should... So take the chance and give this shoe a chance, you may end up as happy as I am..........
