I went a size up from the 9.5 to 10. It was more comfortable. I felt they were perfect and very comfortable when I took them out of the box. I enjoy wearing them because they work out so well. I can keep them on for hours at a time. I would get this brand again and again. I have been on a lot of trips when I needed hiking boots. This is a match for me. The gore-tex does not last forever and needs to be reapplied.

Overall these looked like good boots. They were the right size, but felt slightly small in my right foot- my toe was touching. The top of the tongue rubbed more against my ankle than was comfortable. Overall, they seem like a good boot, and for the sale price, a good bargain. I decided to return them in favor of a Lowa boot.
