I really wanted to like and keep these sandals. I love all of the Naot sandals I've ordered but these seemed just a tad short in the length. I'm usually a 9.5 in sandals and have been buying 40 (9) in Naot which have always been the perfect length for me. These could have been a little longer. Also, they do seem to fit a little narrower but I actually like that. They are super cute on and I love the color (I got the light tan) but I am returning due to the length being just a little short and I am nervous the elastic on the arch area would irritate me.

I have multiple foot issues, including plantar fasciitis and pain in the ball of my foot, so I am always on the hunt for nice looking but supportive sandals. Plus I recently injured by knee which only complicates matters. This year I have tried sandals from Naot, Aravon, Aetrex and Dansko - the customer service folks at Zappos were very patient with my multiple exchanges!! I ordered the Naot Enid in the oily black nubuck for comfort and sturdiness, hoping I could use them for a walking sandal. But I was surprised to see how lovely they are; the photos do not do the sandals justice. They also feel very supportive, although the leather right now is just a bit stiff. I will try them on with my orthotics, and hope they become my go-to sandal! BTW, they are narrow, I'm a true 2A and they fit like a glove.

I purchased the Enid in gold threads leather color, which is a very light golden beige, a nice color. I liked the straps and fit, but decided there wasn't enough cushioning, especially in the front of the shoe. The style is OK, just not very special, so pretty much an everyday casual shoe.

Attractive and very comfy. I ordered the 39 and the orthotics I had custom-made for the Naot Karenna fit this sandal as well. I also can fit my everyday custom orthotics, which are thinner than the ones designed to "match" the original naot footbeds. Really like this sandal BUT it does squeak on some types of flooring - not concrete or wood, just my kitchen laminate.

I was disappointed in these sandals. I have several pairs of Naot Karenna which are several years old and have been perfect in fit and comfort. These did not have nearly as much arch support, and the finish was somewhat sloppy and disappointing.

I love the style and usually love SAS shoes. However, the metal buckle hit at a really awkward place on the top of my foot and was very uncomfortable.

Sure it would be comfortable but too narrow for even my narrow size 38 foot

Length from heel to arch too long, from arch to toes too short. Obviously a customer before me had the same problem. Shoes had been worn enough to leave very deep impressions in the insole.

Toes touched the stitching at top of shoes! I am a Naot fan and hope the sizing is not changing.

It was big and not attractive on my feet. Straps hurt.

Looked good, but too narrow. I never feel shoes are too narrow, so this must be the style.

The fit was fine, although the leather straps had marks on them.

Wanted to love these sandals,but the straps on the inside of my arch were rubbing. They were very cute too.

Just were not attractive, and I realized I do not need the removable insole in sandals. Other brands for half the price work well and I like them, want to wear them.

Because I've loved my first pair of Naot Enid sandals, I ordered a second pair for my upcoming vacations. Unfortunately, this pair in my size was too short. I am returning them. Too bad.

Had to return because the stitching on the straps rubbed my toes, I swear sometimes I think the skin on my feet is more delicate than the skin on my face, the stitching would have rubbed my toes raw.

Bummer! I have to return these shoes. Due to achilles tendinitis I can't make the ankle strap too tight. My foot slides forward and my toes rub on the heavy stitching on the sole. I could tell they would have been very comfortable otherwise.

Not enough arch support for me and my foot kept slipping around The sandals seemed 1/2 size too big and it doesn't come in a 5 1/2

Not enough arch support. I wish the back strap was adjustable. I don't think the sole has enough tread

The toe box was very narrow I have many Naot shoes both sandal and shoes. These were very narrow and cut into my small toe. Never had this problem with Naots before.

This sandal is very wide. I usually wear a 6 and ordered a 36 thinking that it would fit. The sandal was too wide and way too long! Even with the velcro, I could not make the sandal tight enough to fit my foot.

I have a narrow foot, so this sandal was a great fit. Except for the unforgiving arch support, which is in the wrong place for my arches, as so often happens. Wish it was removable, also would like a category for "uncomfortable arch support"! Sending these back regretfully, they were otherwise perfect.

I have had these shoes for three months. The Velcro comes off as I am walking. Lovely shoe, but the quality of Velcro isn’t good.

Although these shoes fit in width and length, the elastic gore on the strap irritated my foot, and they were too expensive to risk not being able to wear them comfortably. I am returning the shoes.
