Naot are the only shoes I buy other than tennis shoes. I have over. 40 pairs. They have great arch support and actually come in size 4! Zappo has the best service too.

These Kata shoes, are comfortable right out of the box, no break in period. Leather is high quality leather, You and your feet will be very happy!!

I've been happy with many naot shoes. The Kata is very comfortable and supportive enough for sight seeing as well as stylish. I have the black and am thinking about another color as well.

These shoes are amazing - comfortable right out of the box. I love the look of them and they feel great ... a little extra support in the ankle too with the high back piece.

Naot hit a homerun way out of the ballpark when they came out with Kata. Normally, Naot runs too narrow for me, and I can not wear a wide shoe. However, the Kata design has the comfort that just works all around. Once your foot glides into the front foot area and is tucked away, you immediately feel the soft, quality leather that was chosen for this way above average shoe! Then wrapping your ankles so stylishly with the laces, you are good to go. Believe me, people will be asking where you got your shoes and to have a pair of shoes that not only look AWESOME but feel just as great!

They’re beautiful shoes, but I had to return them because they were too wide for my feet.

Thee most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I put them on for a 10 hour shift on my feet straight out of the box. No break-in time needed. I have a bunion on my left foot only and these shoes have not aggrevated them one bit! It is like wearing foot pillows. The brown/shitake color is so beautiful. Buy these if you want happy feet!

I loved this shoe and debated about returning it. But ultimately I did. It is a beautiful shoe, but the style just wasn’t right for me. My legs are short, so straps and high tops sometimes don’t work.

I was looking for something for spring and summer, and purchased this shoe in both tan and black colorways. The embossed suede-looking leather upper had to much of a winter feel for me in the black color, and I decided to return them. If the upper would have been a smooth black leather, I probably would have kept them. I did keep the tan pair for spring, and they are extremely comfortable and stylish. If you're wearing long pants, the ties may snag up the bottoms of the pant legs throughout day, but ankle pants/skirts/shorts look great with these!

I am in my 50's and wear a size 11. My purchase in March was based on the reviews received. This Kata shoe has a warm weather style to it. To me, however, most of the colors and leather upper details offered in this style give off too much of a cold weather vibe. I had to return a black pair for this reason, but the tan color that I kept seems nice for upcoming spring. Super comfortable and adequate arch support. It's difficult to make a shoe that looks good in my large size, but this one succeeds. I didn't want to take them off!! Maybe Naot will come out with more summery colors.

This shoe turned out to be perfect for my purposes. I was looking for a shoe to wear with dresses, but that I'd also wear with pants or capris. I don't believe in breaking in shoes, and they were immediately comfortable. I also needed something pretty flat with some style, as well as comfort and support. I use orthotics in both shoes and a 3/8 inch lift in one. I found the lift under the footbed doesn't show at all, and the orthotics I use for dress shoes show only a little on the inside of the foot. There is enough support in the shoe and footbed that I will probably end up just using the lift, at least for dressier occasions. Do pay attention to the size chart--I'm usually a 39, but it does say 40=size 9. I did not realize that the equivalency charts varied, but apparently they do. I've looked at Naot for years but never wanted to spend that much. I will probably buy more if these turn out to be as durable as they look.

These Naot shoes fortunately fit a bit wider than most Naot shoes as they tend to run narrow overall. Since I cannot wear wide shoes, the Kata is an important an exciting find for me! These provide great comfort and are so easy to walk in. I love the fact they are versatile and also look so nice with skirts. In fact, I love them so much, I had to get them in black. The way they carefully wrap around the ankle and tie gently up the front , make this one fine, classy shoe that you won't want to take off at the end of that special date or event. These are definitely "keepers" for years to come.

Like many others who have written a review, I have a foot issue that is no problem with this shoe I have a large bunion but the leather is soft enough that it is not uncomfortable. I love them from the first moment I put them on!

The fit and size of these awesome Naot shoes do run a bit smaller than most closed toe shoes I own; about a half size smaller. However, with, the many foot issues I have I require a bit more width that makes me need the extra half size in Naot shoes. The style is just LOVELY and a definite eye catcher. I love unique shoes and these certainly are quite stunning on the foot. They caress your foot all the way around and the ankle strap area is great as it adjusts accordingly. I purchased the black and gray/taupe ones . The sole is durable and and certain to accomplish many sure footed miles. The signature Naot insert provides wonderful support including arch and Metatarsal support. I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend the Naot Kata.

Happy to contribute to another 5 Star rating! I was contemplating this style for a few months (Naot is always a preferred designer/creator), continued to contemplate and finally ordered. Now that I'm in the youth of my old age, I'm finally smarter as to the style of any shoe I wear wanting to avoid a higher heel, yet something that doesn't look like an old lady shoe! Here it is. Bravo, Naot.

Great shoe. I needed a shoe with support due to foot problems. This is my first time to purchase a Naot shoe. So far, I am very pleased. I ordered 2 pairs; black and tan, in size 40. The size 40 in black was too small. I reordered a second size 40 in black and again it was too small. Size 41 in black fit perfectly in black and size 40 in tan. l

I was on the fence about these shoes for many months. I didn’t want chunky looking shoes and needed something fun, casual and comfortable. I actually tried them a few times and had a tough time deciding, until I found the right color! The coffee pecan was a winner. I keep waiting for a problem or a blister and I’m happy to say they are very comfortable and look great all day! The color works for me. I am a size 8 - I did go with the 39. Overall, Naot Kata did a good job of designing and making this shoe!

Great shoe. I needed a shoe with better arch support and a cork insole due to arthritis that I can wear dancing. These shoes are very comfortable, and I feel like there is some style to them. I did order a black pair as well in the same size (40); however, they were too small. I subsequently ordered another size 40 and a 41 in black and am keeping the size 41 in black.

Wow I loved this shoe. I was unable to wear it due to a nerve issue in my foot- I never know what shoe will bother it. I loved the leather, it's like a crackle look, and love the style, was so disappointed I couldn't wear them. I think it would be too cute with a skirt or pants.

I have this shoe in the Grey Iguana (Beautiful) and ordered another pair in black. They look great on and are very comfortable. The only problem with the black pair is they make noise when I walk on hardwood floors, not on carpet. I've only worn them briefly at home. My best friend thinks I should keep them for the good qualities. That's what is so great about Zappos, I have 365 days to make up my mind.
