It almost worked but the ribbons started to cut into my skin. I have very sensitive skin.

Does run narrow which is good for me but I need more support. Probably a different style would work better for me. Seems a bit short for a 42 but would have been OK if the style suited my foot better. I have several pairs of Naot but my sandals all have a backstrap and are adjustable.

Liked the shoes but not narrow enough for me. Had to exchange for another style.

I normally wear a 7.5US wide, and the footbed of the 39 was too short (it's listed for a size 8). The width is a normal average "M". Too narrow for a very wide (WW) foot, but fine for a normal wide if your feet aren't too bulky. The sole is fantastically comfortable and the straps are smooth and stretchy so they don't feel like they will cut into delicate skin. I like the multicolored straps, but would also like them in all-one-color versions. I had to send the first pair of 39's (size "8") back and get a size 40 (supposedly for a size "9") so my 7.5 foot didn't fall off the ends.

This is a cute shoe and I love Naot, but the fit wasn't right for me. The shoe seemed shorter in length than my other Naots and the arch seemed to be in the wrong place. The width was good for my average-width foot.

These shoes are beautiful, but they run narrow. The description says narrow to medium, but they are more on the narrow side. I'm sending them back. I'm disappointed.

I ordered a 40 (9) because the site recommended a 9 for size 40. Normally 40 is 9.5. These shoes are cute, and probably feel good if they fit. But they were much too narrow. I couldn't get my foot in them. If I were to reorder I would probably need to go to a 10 and then I'm not sure if the width would work. I do have a wide foot.

Straps too wide and don’t sit right in middle if feet.

Naot 35s are normally a perfect fit for me, but not these. A little too short, not quite enough room for my wide toe area. I wanted to be able to wear these, returning them with regret. I really like the look--if you're comparing these with Brenda, Roxana in my view is more beautiful. Less clunky looking. Whereas in the Brenda, the straps were too tight, here they're either okay or loose: quite curiously, the longest gray strap crossing over the middle black one is quite loose. With an open back like this, you need a strong grip on your foot for healthy support; without that, however great the bed is (and in Naot fashion, this one's great) won't matter.

The shoe looks beautiful, but the sizing is wrong. I do not have a wide foot and the width was to tight. Unfortunately this is the second pair of Naot I am returning. I will look to another brand in the future.

I love Naot sandals - and have a number of pairs for at least 20 years - they last forever and fit my foot perfectly - 39 for wide and 40 for narrow. (My shoe size is 8 1/2 medium). I order more because I like the various styles. This pair was unusually tight in the 40 - I also thought the top straps would be leather but they are a material - somewhat like a heavy ribbon - with elastic on the sides - but it did not really stretch when I put them on. . My feet felt stuffed into them. The color is beautiful and I wish I could keep them but I cannot. I wonder if Naot is changing their product in some way - I hope not as they are the most comfortable sandals in the world.

Loved the feel of the sandal but just too narrow and short. IF they had hal-sizes I think that would hav done the trick, but a full size larger wouldn't work. A shame.

Two Different Shoes I have 2 pairs of this shoe in different colors. When I received these, it was like the right shoe had been worn several months and the left had never been tried on. When you have a narrow foot, you do not want a shoe that has been stretched out, especially when the strap is elastic.

Red does not stretch and makes these a bit tight at the toe.

I really wanted to love this shoe and kept it for a few days to walk around the house. I didn't like the clip clop sound because I think either it didn't hit my arch in the correct place. I wondered if I needed to go up a size, but if so, it would be the only Naot shoe I would take in a different size.

These are super cute, & wonderfully made, but so woefully narrow :-( I hated having to return them, but they were never going to work.

I fell in love with the pictures of these sandals. Since I wear all the colors in the shoes, I decided to "splurge." Unfortunately, the sandals were very uncomfortable once on my feet. I have a rather high instep, and the straps cut into my feet. I'm really sad to return such pretty shoes!

For some reason, I thought there was a backstrap on the shoe. There is not. It is a darling shoe, but I will walk right out of it. I have to have a backstrap. So I will be sending these back.

This shoe was previously returned prior to arriving to me. Her note was still on the left shoe. The blue strap on the left shoe doesn’t lay flat/is crumpled on the top of the foot.
