I ordered these in black. When they arrived, the box had a terrible smell that permeated the room fifteen feet away as soon as I opened it. It smells like whatever chemical they used on the uppers to protect the paint. They were stiffer than I had imagined, making them difficult to try on. The extra cushioning made them feel like a pair of shape-ups, which was nice. However, my big toes were hitting the hard part of the upper, and over time would be uncomfortable. I bought these for an upcoming trip to Europe and simply cannot risk that terrible effluvium permeating my suitcase. Not worth the money. Sending these back.

These shoes are great. They provide so much stability and comfort, plus they are so cute! I am ordering myself another pair.

I have a wide foot and high instep and could not even get this on -- strap goes right across top of instep. Look great and seems like footbed is nicely cushioned, but can't tell -- will try another style without the strap.
