This is everything it's advertised as! It is a great addition to my outerwear wardrobe! I love everything about this jacket, but I would add an inside zip pocket!

Can only be used as a rain jacket, it is very light so you have to dress properly

Would give 5 stars if the cuffs were looser.

Very simple but all around useable jacket for those days you just need a layer to battle the rain and wind

I use this jacket for mainly walking and hiking. It's lightweight enough that I can store in my backpack without taking up a lot of space. It has proven to be very wind resistant and allows me to not have to wear too many layers. If it's cold I can wear more layers and stay very warm. My only complaint is that I think the coat could use some vents to help the coat breathe. I walk pretty hard so I tend heat up pretty fast. The coat does keep you very warm otherwise.

The coat is nearly perfect. The only issue I have is the main zipper is bad. It comes apart near the bottom when it's zipped up.

The North Face delivers a good product that will keep you dry in wet conditions and has space for a base layer to ensure warmth. Jacket dries rather quickly and is durable. Collar is nice for added coverage in extreme rain or snow.

I liked this jacket a lot. Used it to go down the slopes with a fleece underneath and felt warm all the way through.

I use this jacket for skiing and cold weather activities right now, but might consider adding it to my summer pack to. It's just a shell so layering with a hoodie works perfect for me. The only think that I wish it had was a breast or arm pocket to keep a ski pass or phone or snacks in.

Good for cold rainy days. Not great ventilation so can get hot in warmer weather.

Bought this a s a three-season coat-for which it is great for. Layer a thermal or sweater under it and it's a four season jacket for some people, including me. The only concern I would mention is the insulation on the collar liner pills and requires sweater shaver a few times per year. Other than that, it's a great piece. Mine is the Fir color which is a olive drab tone with a yellowish tinge. Cool looking and pretty unique.

The fit was spot on, so a Medium is a true Medium. It was warmer than I expected, so this is not a light summer rain jacket. It’s for temperatures cooler than 65 F. I wish it had at least 1 more zippered pocket. Has only the 2 hand pockets, both are zippered and of decent size. It’s fairly water repellent but since it’s new for me, I don’t know how long this will last.

It was way darker than the online pictures. It is practically black not grayish as the online pics suggest. I ordered the asphalt grey model

I work in construction and bought this jacket just for work.

I like the jacket. However, something feels odd. I will use it during the following days to know what is the problem.

Havent been able to test it in wet weather but wearing it around on a warm winter day i could tell how it repels the wind. Im sure its waterproof, feels like a rain coat. Fit could be a little better but its a rain coat and i have trouble finding clothes to fit just right anyways. This was a little big for me everywhere except the shoulders, those were fine. Its a cool design that seems like it will hold up and do what i need it to.

This jacket is a perfect fit but I would love to see them in different colors.

Need to wear it in wet weather to test the waterproofing.

This is a perfect one i have, now i can stay warm all day long.

I bought it to my son he likes it

I bought it as a gift and they went outside with it and a thermal sweater underneath and said it's def not for the cold weather maybe the fall or spring.

I needed a good but light weight rain jacket and have purchased North Face jackets before. This didn't disappoint.

Feels and looks great. I walk the dogs wearing this and it warms me up really quick!

Too crunchy sounding

It is a really good jacket, the extra jacket inside makes you feel warmer and the outside protects you from the wind and cold temperature. The part that covers the neck is soft inside and feels comfortable. I would recommend it.
