I bought this for my son. He picked it out and when he opened and tried it on he was thrilled. Loved the fit and all.

My boyfriend and I are avid explorers of our new town! We're in college and it snows here (which is very new for us) we have two large dogs and they haven't been able to ruin it! It's great for 50 degree weather and once it got down to 1 degree he put another jacket on top and it worked wonders! (:

Overall, this is a good raincoat. The winter in my country isn't very rainy, and I wear the coat about 2-3 days every two weeks for a period of about 3-4 months. I bought it almost five years ago and it still does the job, and doesn't let any water in, keeps me warm and is pretty breathable. The only problem is that the layer between the mesh and the outer nylon layer has started to crumble, and I find myself cleaning flakes from my shoulders after removing the coat. I looked it on the web and found that others have experienced this issue. I took the coat to an official retailer of TNF, and was informed that this inner lining is only guaranteed for 2 years. This isn't a cheap coat and I would expect the guarantee from a high-end company like TNF to be much longer. In any case, this flaking shouldn't happen at all. I had other coats and never encountered such a problem.

I bought this jacket for an trip I was taking in December 2016. I knew I'd be outside a lot and the chance of rain was high. Sure enough it stormed and I was able to pull this lightweight jacket out of my pack and put it on before I was soaked. It kept me dry and warm the whole time. It also looks great and zippers up to your chin which was nice when the wind started blowing. Overall this is a perfect outdoor travel jacket that is easy to store. Highly recommended.

This is just what my son wanted for the weather in Northern California. He's up there for school and it's wet and cold. He can wear this over warm clothing. It's perfect!

Although this is a men's jacket, I bought it for myself and I am a woman. The colors caught my eye and it matches the north face boots I have. Perfect for me

nice jacket

I like and am keeping, however it runs a little big. I am 5'9, 154lbs, 38R, and was between a size S and size M. tried both, ended up keeping the M, though it is quite roomy. the S fit well except the sleeves were a hair short, and the neck area was a hair tight when zipped, so that necessitated the M...had to choose comfort and maneuverability over fashion! the M is a bit poofy around my mid-section. but I do like the jacket, well made and lightweight.

Bought my wife one on a trip to San Francisco - it was a lifesaver!! Kept out their famous wind and cold (in the summer!!). She decided to purchase the same jacket in the men's version for me, and it is exactly what I need for those cooler days!

Overall a great jacket! Nice, stylish, fits good, and light! Northface never seems to disappoint!
