I initially bought it just for the color because I work at the university. After receiving this jacket and using it and the many compliments... I wish I could afford one in every color and wish they had more colors of this particular jacket!!! Great Practical rugged yet relentless like me. Perfect match! Thank you "TNF" ya did good!

This past Memorial day weekend a buddy and I went to NH to hike Mt Washington. We originally planned for the Tuckerman trail but we're warned you need crampons and ice picks for a few sections, "no thanks" so we did the Jewel trail on the cog side of the mountain. Started at 5:30 am to beat the rain forecast , it was 41 degrees at the trail head. I dressed the old fashioned way lots of layers (non cotton ) but didn't realize the importance of a breathable / wind proof outerwear. First 3 hours in shaded tree trails, steadily ascending. The real fun began when we were out of the treeline, and the temperature dropped and the wind gusts up to 40 mph. My chest and back were soaked and I threw on my final layer to keep warm , a nice thin thermal jacket but by that time my sweat felt like a cold wet towel against my back. My friend was wearing a base layer, a thin zip up breathable hiking shirt and his Northface he never overheated or felt the wind through his clothing . I told him I can't really stop at each rock tower marker to long or I'll freeze up. We pushed on crossed the cog railroad and reached the top in a little under 5 hours. Lesson learned.....buy the good stuff once. Since then I have done a bunch of local hikes more for training. East rock, Sleeping Giant, all in Connecticut. All in my Northface, a pleasure to be hiking lighter and more comfortable. My friend and I try to do something challenging every year so we have a good excuse and a deadline to stay in shape. We did the 110 mile Grand Fondo bike ride in NY a few years ago. Walked 40 miles in day just to see how it felt , we plan on doing the Pittsburgh to Washington bike trail next...I'm 66 6'3 210 and my adventure Series friend is 60 6'2 190.....Ted

I was able to finish my last 4 holes on the golf course thanks to this jacket. I folded in my walking golf bag knowning that days that we walk the course we have a good chance of getting wet just the way it happens.
Sure enough rain comes with 4 holes left. This jacket along with another company's pants that were already in my bag kept me dry. Got to the club house I was the only one with a dry shirt out of the group. Thanks north face for making a strong product

I love that it's so lightweight and stylish. I will wear it as a casual rain jacket with jeans or when I need to dress up.

I myself own a couple of these jackets as well as my girls & decided my husband needed to try these resolve jackets. I got him his as an early fathers day gift and was hoping to get before Memorial day weekend for our camping trip. We got it on time and he loved it.

I bought this raincoat for my boyfriend and he loves it. I have the woman's version. Both coats do exactly what they are meant to do - keep you dry and warm. Would buy again in a second.

Excellent rain jacket. Lightweight and comfortable. Good for casual use or outdoor activities. It also looks good - has the collar and hood separate. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
