I got this jacket a year ago and it is my favorite one to wear. It keeps me warm and dry but it's not too heavy. I bought a second one for my boyfriend because he loves it too.

Great idea to have an anorak design vs jacket. This will certainly get a lot of wear!

Need a jacket to keep you dry...not a warm jacket but can easily put a sweater under, stylish emgough to wear casual or dress up in wet weather

Honestly, I asked for it as a Christmas gift. I wear it more for style than anything else on days when it's colder. Since teens don't like to wear bulk in the winter, I think it's warm enough but lightweight.

Keeps me dry in wet weather. Hood is perfect, so that I don't have to use an umbrella.

I bought this to be an outer layer on wet & windy hiking/camping trips. I have only used it in the cold winter & so far it has served the purpose. I am an XL guy & I got an XL jacket. It fits lose enough for me to wear a down jacket under, yet it's not baggy with only a shirt under.

Work at night and ride the bus into work in multiple weather conditions. I stay comfortable, warm and dry. Allows for layering

I use this primarily on training runs when wind chill values drop below 0. I spent 3 hours in this when the wind chill was running -30 and it afforded the perfect amount protection. That being said I'm usually sopping wet afterwards due to the lack of venting and in my experience if you need lots of protection, being sweaty is unavoidable. For the money, you can't beat this as a layering shell.
