It's a beautiful shoe, supremely comfortable in all ways except one - but that one issue is severe enough that I am returning them. The problem is that the tongue is long and narrow-edged, so it pokes and irritates the front of my ankle. Orange shoe, on left is this model, the "On Cloudflow". The green shoe on the right is the "Cloud" model, which does not have this problem.
I'd also recommend:
For me, a better choice is On's "Cloud" model.

I have the On Cloud shoes and decided to try the On Cloudflow shoes. Here's my comparison: I usually wear a 6 in shoes and the Cloudflow size 6 fits (maybe a tiny bit bigger than others), whereas I need a 6.5 in the Cloud. The Cloud is a lighter, smaller shoe. The Cloudflow is heavier than the Cloud but lighter than most running shoes and about the same volume as most running shoes. Wearing one of each shoe at the same time, I could barely tell the weight difference. The Cloudflow feels more stable on the bottom of my feet. The laces on the Cloud and Cloudflow are annoying. They are too long and loosen while running due to the thin slightly rounded shape but this isn't a deal breaker. The deal breaker for me is that the Cloudflow tongue hits against my leg. I have very small feet (width and thickness) which might have something to do with it. On makes great shoes for people that want some cushion but also a lightweight, small profile shoe. I prefer the Cloud over the Cloudflow. I run about 15 miles per week, all on treadmill with mixed speeds (Orange Theory).

I tried these to try a new style of shoe b/c I'm finding sneakers to be very poorly made. When I first took them out of the box I though... how cheap are these, cheaply made that is cause the cost is high. Then I tried them on, they fit like a glove. They felt really comfortable and good. I was oddly surprised. But as I started walking in them i found them to have absolutely no support what so ever. None. They also looked really weird on my foot, almost made my foot look distorted. After walking on them for a bit I came to learn that their complete lack of support was causing discomfort in my feet. so I returned them. For the price, I expected a much better made shoe.

Amazing shoes! I'm currently a low mileage runner (current average 5-10 week) but also use these for strength training. I've got an extremely high foot arch and a bad knee from a previous injury/surgery, so I needed a shoe with adequate support, especially through the arch. I used to run in a pair of Mizuno Wave Riders, but they always felt bulky while running or walking and would always catch or scuff against each other. As soon as I tried these on I knew they were the ones. They have a slim profile and minimal footprint (the rubber/foam sole isn't wider than the foot bed itself), it's extremely light weight, and still supports my foot while jogging or weight lifting. For me, it's the perfect mix. I wear a 7.5 in my other shoes and these feel true to size.

These shoes are amazing. I've been a runner and physical therapist for years. My go to was Brooks, but over the years, I haven't been as happy with how they have been holding up. I wanted a more narrow width with a lower heel drop and neutral support. These shoes checked off all the boxes. Also, these shoes are so light and comfortable that feel like I am just picking up speed each time I go for a run. FYI- I usually run 5-10Ks and do Sprint Triathalons.

These are gorgeous sneakers to look at, however, they are the most painful sneakers I have ever worn. They cause me so much pain in my hip, inner thigh and knee. I am a chiropractor and personal trainer and I walk about 5-6 miles per day and run about 15 miles per week on top of HIIT and weight training. I have never had any pain with any sneakers I've owned. I have never had any problems with my feet, knees or hips. Regarding my sneakers, I always go with a neutral ride with a slight underpronation. I've owned many pairs of ASICS gel cumulus and nimbus and I owned a pair of On Cloud X sneakers before this all with no problems. These On Cloudflow sneakers are very firm, no cushioning and more importantly zero arch support. From the first week I wore these, I got pain in my left trochanter that goes into my inner thigh (possibly trochanteric bursitis). I decided to get some insoles to see if I could get a little cushioning in them and at first I thought it was ok but it just got worse and worse. Each time I run I have to ice my knee, thigh and hip. I went back to my old sneakers for almost two weeks and the pain started resolving. I tried the on cloudflows again (because I've had them for 4 weeks and at $160 it's a sin to not try to see if I can use them) with expensive insoles. The pain immediately came back. They are just unwearable. It actually feels like they are collapsing in the arch area especially on the left side. I really wanted to like these sneakers but they are basically paper weights now. What a shame and a huge waste of money. I highly recommend you DO NOT buy these.

Hard to review these as they were sent to me used. They were clearly worn; still laced up and dirty.

Light, comfortable and amazing arch support. Feels like an arch massage the whole time you're wearing them. Maybe the most comfortable running shoe ever. Have only had them for a week so not sure how they will hold up but I highly recommend!

I loved wearing these shoes - super comfortable and lightweight, but I have to say they have not held up well. The inside - where my heel is - has shredded on both shoes and I haven't had them long enough for that to happen. I had to return.

I just bought these because my Pilates instructor who is a runner wears them all the time and I loved the way they looked. To my surprise they are the most comfortable athletic shoe I have ever worn! They run true to size, I am a 7 1/2 and that is what I wear in these. There is plenty of room in the toe box to splay your toes. Overall I would highly recommend these shoes.

These are my second pair of On running shoes and I LOVE them! I first purchased the Cloudventure, a trail running shoe, through a speciality retailer and ordered a half size up. They were the first pair I tried on and I didn't want to take them off. I tried on three different brands (I've typically worn Asics and Brooks) and none compared to the On. The On were the most comfortable by far. They are very light on the feet and have so much cushion. I tend to be a supinator and these are pretty neutral and supportive. Good shoes are important following a cartilage injury to one knee. I still love my Cloudventures but I wanted another in my normal size for walking, court and gym (3-5x/wk) as well as an upcoming trip to DisneyWorld. I decided on the Cloudflow. They arrived two days before my trip and I was counting on them feeling as wonderful out of the box as the Cloudventures. The fit was what I had hoped, however I didn't actually wear them until the day we left for our trip. The first day, I wore them through both airports and for our first half day/night at WDW. I put 7.9 miles on them that day and my feet felt Fabulous! Not a single ache or blister! I've been amazed by these shoes and will continue to purchase as long as they last. The only negative is the reflective logo is peeling off my Cloudventures after ~7 months but they are still holding up elsewhere. Since I no longer run long distances, I would consider other reviews from avid runners who can attest to how they hold up with additional miles. For what I do, they are perfect!

These are the best for crosstraining! I don't feel like I need to swap between shoes to run and lift in the gym. Great for Orangetheory and the like as well.

The support in this show was oddly positioned. I felt it on the outside of my foot. Not under my arch or in the heal. They actually made my feet hurt within 20min of wearing them in my kitchen.

Ummmmm do you see anything wrong with these? They have different soles, and the Right one is dirty inside has definitely been worn. Just seems unacceptable for the price, that I received someone’s worn shoe?

This is my first pair On. They do run about 1/2 size smaller so be sure to size up. I'm a true size 9 for Nike and Adidas and I took the recommended size 9.5 and they are perfect. I wear them to HIIT and High fitness for the most part and they are super comfy. Highly recommend! Hubby also has Hoka and he said Hoka has more cush but for running and gym workout, these On's are great!

I have only bought ON running shoes for 4 years. Always love every pair I purchase. This pair has more support and cushion on the bottom which is what I needed due to running longer distances now. I love them!!

I love these shoes. I had been on the hunt for the perfect Orangetheory shoe (read: can stand up to treadmill at various inclines and speeds, rower, and burpees), and I finally found it in this shoe. They're structured but feel lightweight and springy. I love running in these shoes, as they feel both supportive and bouncy (in a good way!). I do agree with other reviewers that the tongue is odd and would probably cut into your skin a bit if you were wearing no-show socks. I wear ankle socks so that's been a non-issue.
I'd also recommend:
Nike, Brooks, New Balance

Loved the shoe style, color, and support , but not the tongue. Hit my ankle directly. There was no way I could’ve kept these; they would’ve cut my ankle. If you wear longer socks, might not be an issue.

I love On Cloud shoes, have 3 other pairs, but sadly this pair didn't support my foot at all. I wore them for a few hours and returned home with aching feet. I plan to order another. Thank you, Zappos, for allowing a return on a worn shoe - it really helped this time, the first time I've returned.
