I almost talked myself out of buying these, I thought they'd be too strappy (for business wear), too flashy (gold color), too high to be comfy. Wrong, wrong, wrong! The fact that these build on the classic espadrille style and cover the toe and heel, make them great with Summer suits and dresses. You truly can dress them up or down, I tried them with Bermuda shorts and they lengthen the leg and looked great! The gold color is not flashy, the surface of the shoe is slightly pebbled and muted so that the shoe reads neutral. They are stable to stand on, not wobbly. They are also really comfortable and the platform levels out the height a little to it does not feel high at all. I don't have a lot of mileage on them yet but so far they have exceeded expectations!

Love the color. I was worried the gold would be to gaudy, but they were not. I wish the heel had a little more cushion but that is not uncommon with these types of shoes in my opinion. The arch support is not as good as I expect, but I guess that is to be expected with any type of high heels. I think the support there is better than nothing at all. Other than that I really like them and got a lot of complements on them at work. On a side note, the "strings" do stay tied although you might have to tighten them up first couple of times you wear them.

Beautiful Shoe. I typically wear a 9.5 to 10 depending on the fit. I followed the advice of others that this shoe had a tight fit. Not so, my foot was swimming in the size 10, so I ordered 9.5. This was a perfect fit and not tight. I can't wait to wear these for a fun day out and about.

Well constructed, fun style, and amazing arch support for a summer heel! The laces are a little cumbersome but worth it.

This shoe is perfect! Super comfortable and a great style to wear with spring wardrobe pieces. It's hard to believe a comfort shoe can be this good looking. I bought the pewter metallic and it goes with everything.

I absolutely love these sandal! They are so stylish and yet super comfortable. I can literally wear them all day and my feet never hurt! People stop me and compliment me constantly on these shoes and many can't believe they are Vionic. Would love to order in every color.

These shoes are great! Definitely not as much arch support as some of my Vionic flip flops, but much more support than any other brand of shoe that would have a cute style such as this. There is a lot of room in the toe area, which is good so that the tootsies are not cramped. Very happy with this purchase. I bought the pewter color, and it's a great neutral color without being an overly shiny silver color.

These are my first Vionic platforms, but they won't be my last. I live in an old city with hills, Belgian block and old brick sidewalks so walking in heels is a challenge. With this style I was able to walk all afternoon without an issue. I do wish Zappos offered them in 5.5 (if they make them) because that would have been a better fit, but I'm used to not having many choices in my size.

I absolutely love these sandals. They are strappy and sassy yet makes my feet feel so good. This is the best brand for people with foot issues that need extra arch support.

Adorable shoes, just too wide for my 8M foot. Well made, excellent support.

These shoes are the CUTEST and very in the style of the moment. Unfortunately, the top of the shoe rubbed my ankle in a way that I was afraid would be too uncomfortable after a period of hours. I have very narrow ankles that leaves a gap between the leather and my ankle, so rubbing may not be a problem for everyone.

This is pretty much the first year I've seen orthopedic sandals this attractive. It's normally a style compromise to get shoes that have adequate arch support. I guess that's changed! With the Calypso (and also Vionic's "Tansy"), I'm actually looking at a sandal that I would gladly buy even if I had zero arch issues. Finally. Now I just have to decide whether I want the Calypso, the Tansy (almost identical to the Calypso, but open toe), or both.

Really cute but the toe cap ended right at my bunion - uncomfortable and not attractive. Also my wide foot kind of hung off the side in a not too pretty way.

I love these but being tall would like to know wedge height before purchasing. ?? I gave three stars for comfort because I don't know this style yet and this site wants an answer. I've tried Vionic shoes and do not like them but the flip flops are great. Hoping...

Beautiful and comfortable! I can't wait to wear these. They might take a little bit of breaking in, but not much. Very nice.

This is a beautiful shoe! I am returning it only because I have terrible feet and it hits wrong on my left foot! The arch support in this shoe is fantastic! I believe anyone that has half way normal feet would love this shoe! Looks great with jeans, tights, shorts and dresses!

I first saw these in a big glossy fashion magazine, so, of course went straight to Zappos. These comfort wedges are all I hoped they would be. Adorable, comfortable as promised, and you'll look great in them!

These shoes are adorable! They look exactly like the picture. The fit is perfect and the style will go with so many different outfits.

I wish this shoe came in a wide I think the style looks very good but if your feet are wide these may not work for you. Although I liked how they looked I think because my foot is wide these would be uncomfortable at least for me. Vionic are excellent shoes with great arch support.

Really lovely shoe and very comfortable but unfortunately as I have very slim ankles they just didn't look right on me. Also felt they were slightly narrow - but if it hadn't been for the ankle issue I would have kept them as they are a beautiful shoe.

I am normally a solid size 8 1/2 M, but my foot was literally swimming in the shoe at that size. Returned for a half size smaller & the fit is much better. I was a little concerned that despite lacing these up snugly, my heel still moved quite a bit & considered going down another half size, but was concerned they'd be too short in the toe area. However, upon wearing the size 8 for the day, I think that the lack of a snug fit at the heel may be just the design. They were very comfortable right away & extremely cute. There is minimal arch support, as other reviewers mentioned - but that's likely due to the shoe's design itself. Too much "build up" in the arch area if the footbed would ruin the look of the side of the shoe, as that portion is easily visible. I did not have trouble with the lacing or back of the shoe wearing blisters as others have stated, I think maybe because it was not snug on me - so that's a bonus. The pewter is a great color that goes with most everything & can be dressed up/down.
