This vest is amazing so far and I barely notice i'm wearing it. It came with soft flask and I think I know why. The hard bottom flask dig into your ribs on extremely long runs. I don't notice it until 30+ miles but something to think about if you're buying this for an ultra. I was surprised at how little the flask move once you figure out the straps and remembering to loosen or tighten them according to how much you have packed into the vest. Size: purchased the XS/S and I'm 5'6" and 130lbs. When the vest is empty the straps are nearly maxed out.

Carries everything I need to hike/run with my dog.

Normally I run with the least amount of clothing, no shirt and 3" shorts. However I needed something to carry water for long runs. It moves with me even when I have the 1.5L bladder full. I am amazed at how well it becomes a part of me instead of feeling like I am carrying something. It hugs you without constricting you. The bladders deflate and prevent any bouncing or sloshing. The pockets are easily accessible and hold everything tight. Easily adjusts to current load. Well designed product with great fit, function, and comfort.

This is my second same pack because I just wanted to upgrade my current one. This pack is second to none.

I'd been looking for an Ultra vest, and reasesrching the many different company's/models out there. To be honest, I love everything Salomon! I've owned more of their shoes than I should admit. Along with shirts/shorts etc. I wasn't looking forward to wearing a vest to run. But I knew I needed to haul water/nutrition etc. on long runs. The Adv Skin 5 Set is perfect for me! From the moment I got it, it felt like a "second skin." Perfect fit. Comfort. A few runs to dial in where I wanted to put things, and now it's an old friend. It's had adequate room for me so far. Water, gels, a Houdini rain jacket. An absolutely outstanding vest from a company that just makes thing right!

Test? depuis sur de nombreuses courses , le gilet se fait tout de suite oubli?! Les 2 flasques de 500cl suffisent pour moi, mais possibilit? de rajouter une poche d eau suppl?mentaire. Nombreuses poches et rangement, zip, sifflet...systeme d ajustement parfait pour que le gilet plaque bien au corps et qu il n y ait aucune gene pendant la course. Un investissement quasi indispensable pour les traileurs

I purchased this vest last spring and used it all summer during training and ultra events. The fit is very comfortable even when rather loaded for unsupported long runs or possible inclement weather. The vest ride smoothly and is easy to adjust. Whether for a 10 mile or 100 mile event it works for me very well. I haven't become very adept at stashing trekking poles yet but have successfully done so here and there.

The perfect pack for your 10-13 Mile Trail runs. And when I don't even need water, I still use it to carry my keys, phone and a layer.

I love my pack! Absolutely the best one I have. Only thing I would change is put a zipper or Velcro to make it easier to put the bladders in. They are so hard to put in I just throw them in the back which is faster but harder to reach

Although the vest looks a excellent piece of kit I can't seem to find a user guide to help me with set up of bladder. I'd really like to see the recommended route for the hose, how to fit the bladder and adjust the straps. Some of this I managed to find by watching reviews on YouTube. Hopefully I've just missed it but if not then this isn't good enough for a expensive vest
