I work as a CNA at a hospital i am on my feet for 12 hours. I have feet, back and hips, that like to give me problems off and on. I seen these on a clearance rack at our local sporting store. I Tried them on and they felt good . I wore them the next day for work. I feel on love it is so nice to finish a day and not be sore. They are a little spendy though, i wouldn't of tried them out at the full price. Other then the price i would by them again.

The live coaching taught me that I was spending more time on my right side. Since I've corrected my shin splints went away (as long as I stretch too)!

This shoe is the best! I learned I did forefront striking and had an uneven stride the first day I wore it. It also reminds me to relax, uncross my arms, have a proud stance, not to overstride, and or to increase my cadence. It hasn't told me to lighten my steps so I must already have light steps. If I'm doing everything fine, it will at the least remind me of my average cadence. I love my personal running coach! I'm hooked. I'm on my second pair. Thank you for designing such a smart comfortable running shoe! How about designing one in black?

I own many pairs of Altra shoes (Torin 2.5, Provision 3.0, and Superior 3.0). I love them all so I bought the IQ for the tech. Unfortunately, the IQ has so little arch support that when I wear these, the inner edge of the shoe flattens as I walk (or run) and it makes me pronate severely (this doesn't happen with any of my other Altra shoes). I have had them for 5 months and the problem has only gotten worse. I tried new inserts with better arch support (the ones in the shoe have no arch support at all) and it didn't really help. The tech part of the shoe is pretty cool. I liked getting cadence, contact time, and impact rate info. But, because of the arch issue I no longer wear these shoes.

This was my first try with Torin (have Olympus 1.5 and 2.0 and tried Lone Peak). Ordered same size as I had before but these were still too small. And I don't have a particularly wide foot but their shoe was very narrow/tight across the forefoot/instep. For the price, these need to be just right and they were not for me.

Wish this had been disclosed before I ordered shoes which I cannot return.Love Altras when they fit but figuring out the correct size is too much for me.

Unfortunately this shoe is being made narrower than last year. Sole is one quarter inch narrower. ....
