Visually, they are stunning. But, they are quite possibly the most uncomfortable athletic shoe I've ever worn. I have hiking boots that are more comfortable. I do still use them, but I make sure I won't be out for much more than an hour in them. This was my first Adidas outdoor shoe purchase, and probably the last.

Amazing shoe/design. I love these shoes. I usually wear a 9/9.5. I ordered a 9 which was a good 1/2 size too big. Ordered the 8.5 and they fit perfect.

I was looking for either a lightweight hiking shoe or a more serious trail runner for a 3 day trek on Vancouver Island, so I bought 12 different styles of Gore-Tex trail runners and light hikers to evaluate. I currently have Adidas outdoor adizeros that I use for pretty much everything outdoors here in Florida. I really liked these shoes. The build quality is good, the gore-tex is relatively breathable, and they are relatively light and really stylish. The sole has good traction, just like the adizeros I have now. I really like these shoes, even thought I ended up sticking with higher top shoes, which is what I need for the trek (I tried these on with my gaiters, but wasn't totally confident in the combo). When I need to replace my florida trail runners, I will be revisiting these and the Terrex fast hi tops.
I'd also recommend:

Eh, this is an ok shoe. It’s a little heavy for hiking, but it’s the stiffness of the shoe that really hurts the overall appeal. I didn’t have blister issue - I’ve put some miles on these puppies - but they feel as stiff and the day I took them outta the box. They look great though. (Also, I sized up a half size just to be cautious as I’m using these solely for hiking, but I think I could’ve gotten away w my normal size.)

Having tried several gtx pairs, I settled for this pair for the following reasons: It has a low profile. It's thin and styled quietly. The most commendable feature is the outer sole which is every gripping on every type of surface I've tried so far. In fact, it's the best outer sole I've ever had out of all of my outdoor shoes and boots. The things I wish: The sole could be more flexible to match its low profile. Also the toe box could be a bit roomier.

The shoes are slightly narrower than my usual B width shoes but it has a quite style I like. While most gtx shoes tend to have thick and stiff soles and uppers, this pair is more streamlined and flexible.

These are great for waterproof shoes. As a regular sneaker they are a little stiff, the boost sole isn't as bouncy as my other Adidas boosts, and the heel loop is insanely uncomfortable and stiff (I cut them off.) Since it is so hard to find stylish shoes that are fully water-proof I am keeping these.

These shoes are stiff and the soles feel hard when I walk. My feet slide around inside them. I didn’t even bother to try to run in them.

These looked great - which is unusual in the waterproof sneaker market and why I chose them - but just trying them on they feel uncomfortable - not soft and snug as I expect a sneaker to feel. For this price I cannot risk hoping they get more comfortable with use, so I will return them.
