I live in Northern California. These base layers are my go to every day of the Fall into Spring seasons. Light weight and easy to care for. The best ever!

I just received these and our weather in Arizona is starting to warm up so I don't anticipate wearing this until next year. It is a nice light weight, fit is neither too tight or loose and the color is beautiful.

Fits perfectly. I have an athletic build - 5'7", 130#, size medium. This shirt is super-long on me. I have a short torso (5/7" and have a 36" inseam). The shirt's hem hits below my glutes. By buying this shirt from last year's line, the color choices were limited (I chose black). The current version claims credit for some fit enhancements, but for the price I am happy with this shirt!

So far, I've used this by itself or under a vest. Very comfortable!

I love these and I'm so glad I found them. I will be buying multiple colors to wear as base layers and possibly on their own (It's still Winter so we'll have to see what the warmer weather brings!) Although I'm entering the sweepstakes, this is an honest review. #sweepstakes.

This will be my baselayer top to sleep in on the JMT. It's nice and light but warm and dumps heat when necessary. I love all my Smartwool tops and am excited to try the thinner shirt for this trip. Smartwool generally does feel like a second skin once I have it on.

This is my first Smartwool purchase. I use it under a vest or alone when it is chilly at home. I'm thinking about getting another color!

The perfect winter "t-shirt" - this thing is thin, but adds warmth.
Sizing is women-large, so it's a little tight
Holding up great in the wash (in a bag to prevent snags) and feels very comfy against the skin

I live in Central CA and wear my Base Layer shirts every day. The temperature can go from morning cold to warm afternoons. I am extremely comfortable during these months while walking in the early morning or just resting at home. It almost feels like a natural extra layer on your body! I recently recommended 3 friends to order base layer shirts and they too LOVE them. Oh and the neckline for women fits so great. No tightness around the neck and a nice lower scoop neck . Perfecto

Used it this past weekend in subzero weather snowmobiling and washed ready for downhill skiing. Warm as base layer. Washed beautifully! Feels great against skin!

I use it for winter hikes and cross country skiing as my base layer. Feels great. It's a lightweight base layer, not too thick, appropriate with other layers.

Love the thinner layers and this black base layer is super slimming and comfortable against the skin. Definitely highly recommended especially for trail runners - but I honestly think every person could use this base layer! #Sweepstakes

Love these. If I could get one in every color I would. They're very versatile and great for layering. Also love that the sleeves are nice and long. I have long limbs and hate to wear tops that are constantly riding up over my wrists. These sleeves don't do that.

These are my new favorite SmartWool shirts! I get cold easily, so I like to layer up. But I'm also a curvy person, so layering can quickly make me look chubbier than I'd like. This shirt lets me add layers without adding bulk. I got the grey and the black. The grey is a little see-thru-ish depending on what kind of bra you're wearing. But since these are a base layer for me, it doesn't matter.
