This was a Christmas present to a lovely outdoorsy lady who doesn't receive presents. Smart wool is her favorite brand and she waits for any sale so she can get socks. She never dreamed she'd get this under layer, in her favorite color, and told me she was NEVER taking it off

a light weight base layer you can count on. I purchased the 150 base layer for milder winter days. Smartwool base layers have become my everyday wear selection. the 150 is a good choice for seasonal transitions not those northern cold winter days. I choose Smartwool for quality, fit and basic style. Im outdoors daily and need base layers that work.

I love my Smartwool long sleeve. It is so soft and comfortable like being hugged all day long. It seems to change with the temperature, keeps me warm when chilly out. When going in from the cold it continues to help my body adapt to the warmer temperatures inside. I will buy more smart wool products.

I really like my 150 merino top. It is my go to for layering for any outdoor activity during the cold season. I sometimes wear it as a casual top at work if it's particularly cold day.

Love this! Perfect under my soft-shell touring. Not too hot/just warm enough. I have been trying new gear this year & this 150 and the 200 are my new favorites. I am super impressed with the moisture wicking & lack of smell trapping ability of these over competitors polyester.

I only bought one because I wanted to see how it fit and how warm it kept me. I like the one I bought a lot and I plan to buy more. However, if the technology exists to print labels directly onto a garment, why oh why is there a tag on the inside of the shirt?

I bought this shirt 5 years ago. I wear it all the time to do everything - under a nice sweater to work, skiing, hiking, hunting, etc. I wore it so much I wore holes in the sleeves. I finally had to breakdown and buy it again....I literally loved it so much I bought the exact same shirt. Same exceptional comfort and quality. I suspect I'll wear this one all the time too...

Sooooo warm! I was in need of a base layer to keep me warm when I moved to a chilly climate and boy, did these deliver! I love that they are still thin enough to fit under clothing, they keep me super warm, and since they are wool, they don't stink!

I used the Women's Merino 150 Long Sleeve shirt under a light fleece and my rain jacket during a cool rainy hike in the Smokies> It was perfect.
I stayed comfortable and warm but not too warm during exertion. It breathes and wicks moisture. I changed into jeans this shirt and a warm vest for a casual dinner later in the day. It's a great versatile piece I will wear through out fall, winter and spring.

I love the indigo blue color, and the cut fits really well- somewhat fitting but not at all tight around the chest, waist, and shoulder areas. It's the perfect warmth for chilly fall days and it's really comfortable! Would buy again in the future.

I got this for hiking and works great to layer since not bulky. Very comfy. Only complaint is the sleeves are very long for an XS.

The best thing about the 150 base layer top is the versatility. If you were to have only one base layer this would be it as it can be used in all four seasons. It has been the perfect weight for early spring hikes. At the same time, it won't be too warm to wear in the summer or on a warmer winter day. The fabric is soft on the skin and feels durable without being too thick. The new marble wash pattern is really fun and vibrant. #SmartwoolLove

Such a great comfortable piece to wear anywhere. I love a good versatile piece that you can wear skiing, hiking, or to work. Washes well and the plant based dye definitely holds up. #smartwoollove

This plant based dyed crew is a fabulous addition to my spring athletic wardrobe. The fit is relaxed without being boxy and it performed over and over from warm-up, workout and cool-down keeping me temperature regulated and comfortable. I wore it in low 60's and damp/misting, 50's and windy with a lite jacket, and high 60's with sun.
The blue color is like a summer day sky! #SmartwoolLove

Been a fan of Merino 150 for many years. Recently tried out the new plant based dye version, and it holds up just as well as the older styles! Seems like the fit is a bit more relaxed than previous versions of the 150. I'm a solid medium across brands, and the plant based dye version is looser than a usual medium with slightly longer sleeves. I love the soft coloring with the dye, and as a bonus it hides baby spit up quite well with its marbling. I love 150 for multisport adventures! biking to hiking, backcountry skiing with skinning to downhill zooming. Perfect for 70 degree temps and to keep the sun off your skin. #SmartwoolLove

First of all the color and pattern are wonderful and the feel of this merino shirt is better than a spa visit.
This is a really good base layer for those in-between days when it starts out at 15 degrees and then hits 60 degrees at lunchtime. It was cool when it needed to be and provided insulation when necessary. A solid addition to my layering repertoire. #smartwoollove
