I hiked 226 miles on the John Muir trail last September with two of these long sleeved shirts. Even on the warmer days, they breath so well, I was never too hot. They NEVER smell. They dry very quickly. And very good for layering under warmer clothing.

Lightweight and pretty soft. Great for warm weather exercise. During cold weather, this is a good baselayer. I purchased it to run and play tennis during the cooler months. The 250 was too warm. Love It!

Light and comfortable for warmer weather. It breathes well, so I don't easily overheat. So far I love it! I have wide shoulders and an athletic build so I ordered a large (sometimes do a medium) and it's perfect!

I am very happy with this baselayer! I ski in California, so the 150 has been perfect to keep me warm. It is very comfortable and washes well.

I am preparing for a trip to Scotland in May and I think that these will be very warm. Great for layering my clothing. I have already worn them at home and I am very pleased with the quality.

I purchased a smartwool shirt for my fiance to give it on her birthday, June 23rd, to replace her old one that had holes and tears. She loved her first shirt so much that holeness was going on all over it :) So her birthday was a perfect reason to correct that situation. She was so happy to get a new shirt and it turned out so timely. We went to Toronto to celebrate her special day and it was a rainy and chilly week. So layers worked out perfectly. She felt warm and comfy in her birthday gift! Thank you Smartwool for making it warm and cozy for us in the coolness of Toronto this June!

We needed a warm, light-weight shirt. This is exactly what we wanted and the fit is perfect.

Wear on long distance Caminos. Also around town in the fall and winter in the PNW. Really wish there were more warm autumn color options for women. How about a soft gold, warm olive, rich brown.

I've worn this 2 or 3 times since receipt - to work, the barn, and other chilly places! To work, under a light sweater (I sit right under a vent, so there is air moving all the time), and the barn - well, that's obviously chilly, and I spend at least a couple hours outside. It is attractive enough that I can remove my top layer(s) when I get warm from exertion, too! I love all SmartWool products - there is, really, nothing like soft wool to keep warm - and this base layer is another winner!

Awesome base layer -- I wore it for a few days backpacking in Alaska. Despite rain and huge temperature ranges, this shirt was always exactly what I needed. Love its ability to wick moisture and prevent odor! Great fit and look too.

I wear this year round. As a "base layer" in winter, but on its own every other time of the year. The quality is excellent. And, it's not itchy. Such a great texture that I wear it to professional (non-outdoorsy) events, because it just looks good. I even like the little logo on the wrist.

Great fit, soft next to your skin. I have fair sensitive skin, so this is important.

I bought this product to use hiking and traveling hoping I could wash it easily in a sink and travel ultra-light. So far it is my favorite piece of clothing I have on my trip, the fastest drying and a great top or base layer. Add to that that merino is naturally oder replant and I can say it's working very well!

The fit and size were great, but the style is a little sportier than I wanted. The neckline, in particular, was too sporty to wear under dressier street/work clothes. I preferred the similar style in IceBreaker 175

Washes and dries really well. Great base layer under fleece or sweater. Getting ready for trip to Iceland and purchased a second top after I wore the first one.

I enjoy the added layer this tips gives me on cold days. It's a great layering piece or nice to wear on its own.

I own lots of Smartwool. I use the heavier thermal for outdoor activities; however, I own 4 "all-season" crews that I wear under shirts/sweaters in the winter to keep me warm all day. They wear and fit well, don't pill, and do not absorb odors. They are fitted, but not tight. My whole family wears Smartwool because we like the function and the look.

This is the fifth merino base layer crew I have bought, in all different colors - the first one is at least 8 years old and looks exactly the same as the day I bought it. In the winter months I wear them almost every day and wash each one at least once a week. I absolutely love them. The perfect base layer.
