I love these!! I wear them a couple days in a row and they are great! It took me a while to convert but now I'm a believer! Smartwool, you've perfected close to skin material I'll wear forever!

I just got back from a 2 week trip that consisted of several multi day backpacking trips and lots of camping. I wore these for up to 3 days in a row, and they still felt fresh and didn't smell; merino wool doing it's job! When I got to a lake I dipped them in the lake, and they were as good as new and dried very fast. They also don't ride up while hiking and backpacking, which I've had a problem with other brands. I accidentally threw them in the dryer after a wash and they didn't shrink, fray, or melt, which reinforces the fact that these are made out of quality materials. I highly recommend, want to get more! I wish they were a bit cheaper.

First time wearing wool underwear for hiking/backpacking trip. Very comfortable, wicked moisture very well, and compared to polyester boxers, there were no odors related to sweat!! I am very astonished, did not believe it would performed that well. About durability of the materials, cannot say anything yet since I purchased it recently. Purchased the Large size. I am 6.1 ft. tall and weight 220 lb

This is the only underwear I own. A few years ago I bought a pair, and slowly replaced all of my underwear with these things. They are amazingly comfortable. If you're like I am where you tend to sweat a little more often than others. They are even better. I fly a lot. I back pack a lot. I wear suits to work. I play golf. Tennis. Running. Doesn't matter. This is the underwear I'm putting on. I was a little displeased with the removal of the fly in the last version. But. The quality of the material felt like it went up.
Now the downside. I don't know what I do. I don't know if it's because my chubby sweaty thighs (nice visual right) rub too hard. If it's because I'm washing them wrong(probably...). Or if it's just a trade off for the comfort. But I wear a hole right through the middle center of these boxers pretty consistently. They tend to last about a year. Which is long enough. But I feel like my under wear before these lasted longer. So this is just a thing you should know, but they are still absolutely worth the buy. You gotta wash these things correctly. I don't take the time to do that. So I end up throwing them in with my blue jeans and they wear out. Im ok with that. If you're not, wash them correctly. It's merino. It's not cotton.
Side note: maybe smart wool could read this review and throw an extra patch of fabric in the groin area.

Simply put, the best underwear money can buy. Yes it's expensive, but it lasts much longer than polyester or cotton underwear, and performs on an entirely different spectrum.
This underwear can be worn to work, to the mountains, to the gym, to bed. With merino wool's temperature-regulating properties, I've comfortably worn it in any weather, from below freezing to nearly 100 deg. F.
They also last amazingly long. I've had one pair a year, and two others for 6 months, and they all look almost brand new. After every wash, they shrink just a bit, but then stretch out just enough to be skin tight but flexible. For socially-acceptable cleanliness, they can be worn several days without stinking, and out backpacking I've worn them for nearly a week without any problem.

I actually like the new design better than the old. The new fit me better, and I like the new waist band. Also, I think they will be more durable.

These boxer briefs are great for everyday use for individuals who remain active indoors and outdoors as part of their career. As someone who wears a uniform, these boxers help wick moisture away from my body when sweating and keep my warm during cold conditions as well. Great product.

My first pair of smartwool underwear and wow. My nuggets are thrilled. These have to be the most comfortable boxers I've ever worn. Sizing, stated I was a Large however after reading reviews I went with an XL and they fit perfect.

These are terrific boxer-briefs, especially compared to poly/synthetic boxer briefs such as the Patagonia Capilene Lightweight Performance boxer-briefs. Patagonia's "polygiene" order control simply does not function as well as Smart Wool's Merino 150s. And synthetic just doesn't feel as comfortable as these Smart Wool Merino 150s. I wore three Smart Wool 150s backpacking for 9 days in Colorado, and for everyday wear in Texas, and they are extremely comfortable in all climates and temperatures, and absolutely do not retain odor. They are pricey and I can't provide a long-term review as I've only owned them 1 month. I'm washing warm/cold and tumble dry; no problems. My only complaint is the inseam is too short. These would be perfect if the inseam were 6 inches to 9 inches!

I got these for backpacking for a week in the North Cascades. I generally can't wear wool due to the itch level. These Smartwool underwear are an exception to that. Very comfortable, good fit, don't ride up, nice waistband. Easy to clean, quick dry. #sweepstacks

Quite possibly the most comfortable, moisture wicking underwear I've ever worn. Always thought wool would be inappropriate for summer wear but these merino wool underwear have proven me wrong. Very comfortable and they stay dry even in the most humid conditions. These have become my go to underwear on hot, sticky days because they retain their softness and comfort without sticking to my skin like others have. Must try to appreciate the benefits of these underwear in hot humid weather. The additional benefits of odor preventing and quick drying make these my number one underwear for both summer and winter travel. Thanks Smartwool! Great product!

These awesome boxers are my go-to for outdoor pursuits including hiking, camping, backpacking and hunting. Comfortable like cotton but they don't hold on to moisture drying quickly and they don't take on the polypro stink which is especially nice on multi-day trips when packing clean shorts is an issue.

Everyday wear is how these get used. They have been extremely comfortable in a wide-range of temperatures and feel dry even in high-intensity activities. I highly recommend these boxer briefs.

Most comfortable underwear I've had in a long time. The fabric covering the inside of the elastic waistband makes this underwear so much better! Never knew i needed that until now. Also the design works well with seams to the outside of the rear, so you don't have an annoying seam right up the middle that gets uncomfortable. Nice work smartwool!

At the suggestion of my brother I gave a pair of these a shot a while back and this purchase nearly completely transitions my underwear drawer to smartwool. Super comfortable and breathable. Price is tough, but finding them on sale is the way to go
