I have about 10 pairs of these Merino 150 Boxer Brief from several years of models. These are for sure the softest and least itchy feel for me so far. I am a 32-33ish waist and typically wear Medium (sometimes Large) in boxers and shorts. These I am a true Large. The waistband is comfortable and stylish. They sit at a great length for my comfort. I wear these for all sorts of activities, from working 8-9 hours a day with an 1 commute to hiking 8 miles on trails. They regulate temperature well. I truly love the new design with the Plant Based Dye and details. Will be bragging about these for a while! #SmartwoolLove

I am happy with the fit and comfort. I still need to see how the brief's feel during a Texas summer. I have been wearing the brief's in 20-75 degree weather and do not notice that I am wearing the anything. Some have mentioned the larger waist band, but I have not noticed any issues.

Underwear works great at keeping moisture off of you. I work long hours in the sun with a lot of physical activity so good underwear is a must. I have tried many options, but many of the synthetics, even though they work well, tend to stink bad quickly. Dealing with customers I always felt self conscious. The wool solves this problem; however, I wish there was a little extra elastic throughout the leg. After a long day of moving and stretching, the legs start to stretch out. Washing seems to tighten them back up a little bit, but at the end of a 12 hour shift they seem to lean more towards regular boxers than boxer briefs.

I've been through several pairs of the Merino 150 boxer briefs, and love them. The new design, however, is a significant downgrade from the prior design. Smartwool, if you have any of the older cut briefs in the closet, I'll take them! I particularly don't care for the new broad waistband, what does this accomplish? I preferred the old longer inseam as well, but can live with it.

I switched to SmartWool's Merino Boxer Briefs 4 years ago to replace unbreathable and unnatural materials that other brands use. My groin has never been so happy. These bad boys never stink, they are cool on the family jewels and allow my thighs and glutes to breath. Plus, they're high quality. They have held up in the low heat dryer and the seems have never failed. I own 10 pairs and will continue to purchase as needed.

Truly the Gold Standard when it comes to wool boxer briefs. I've tried other brands, always disappointing. Inferior waste bands, legs keep rolling up my thigh. I will only buy these from here forth, please don't change them!
