I love this shoe; it's pretty and classy. When I slipped it on, I smiled. It was a little tight in the tow box, but since it is leather, I figured it would stretch out and be even more comfy. Unfortunately, it has not and I will be returning them; however, I am grateful for the ability to do so. Thank you, Zappos!

Unfortunately these were just uncomfortable on my feet. I have high arches, and some slight metatarsal issues, with slightly narrow feet (not narrow enough for N shoes though). My foot felt like it wanted to slide forward, the balance between heel and ball of foot was off. Not enough good support for me, and the left shoe hurt as I walked. I tried them out a day at work, but no go. Not enough room in the toe box either. Such a shame too, the reviews seemed positive enough. Returned.

They were just too tight across the toes. Tried three different pair. Will order another pair later.

Originally I bought these shoes in a 10 because of my extra wide feet. However, they were too big and I sent them back for 9.5. Very happy with this shoe. So hard to find shoes for WW size that have a bit of style

I ordered these nude color for my 94 year old Mother who wears an 8-1/2 N. When she tried on the first shoe, a smile came on her face. The shoe is very comfortable, however, the heal was not quite narrow enough. We added heal pads and put them on and that took care of the little problem. She indicated the shoes are VERY comfortable, and loves the look of them. I'm thinking of getting her another pair in black.

Nice, comfortable BUT NOT GREY!!! I thought maybe the online color was distorted so I took a chance. The shoes are beige, with an under-color of something darker. Result is that the shoe just looks dirty.

These are such comfortable dress loafers! For some reason, the insoles squeak, which is extremely annoying to me, but they provide great support.

This is my second pair of Trotters Monarch. It is hard to find shoes that aren't orthotic looking to accomodate my bunion. These are stylish enough to wear to the office, or to pair with jeans. The arch support is good, and the insole is removable so you can add your own. My first pair starting pulling apart at a seam after a year's worth of wear, hence the second pair. Overall I am very satisfied with this shoe.

Excellent fit right out of the box, noticeable arch support. I'm looking forward to trying these when I perform instead of my usual flats, which leave my feet tired.

I sometimes wear a 9N in Trotters but the last pair of loafers I got were too roomy in 9N so I ordered both the 8 1/2 and the 9 and the smaller size seems perfect. Thank you, Zappos, for great service.

Nice basic loafer. Nothing fancy, just classic. Fits my narrow feet so I’m happy.

Extremely comfortable right out of the box. True sizing. Not too narrow and not too wide. Perfect shoe for the office. I will be purchasing another pair.

These would have been my first Trotters and I was surprised at how soft and comfortable these felt when they arrived. However, I got the larger of the two sizes I float between and kept stepping out of these, which would not work. I have problem feet and need wide shoes, but the width was perfect for me - they were just too long. I did feel like these looked a little less classy in person than they did online, though. They aren't horrible, but I didn't need another frumpy pair of shoes in my collection, so I sent these back. They would have been comfortable to wear to work if I'd gotten the right size though. Had I gotten the right size, I probably would have kept them.
