Seriously, this hat is great. It is light and pocket packable while keeping the sun out of my eyes and off of my ears and neck. Douse it in water to stay cool during a hot day - it'll dry out in about an hour.

This hat is a great neutral color and the size is perfect. The brim is not too side that it would get in your way but it is also wide enough for good sun coverage.

Lightweight. Great shade. My head didn't sweat at all. Kept me nice and cool. Love the look.

Nice size brim and very lightweight. Comfortable and keeps the sun off my face, ears and neck.

Great design and fabric for many uses. The fabric is light, the brim is just the right width to provide shade, and the strap keeps my hat secure in the wind on the ground and in our convertible. Really appreciate that it comes in a small size, too. I loved my first one so much, I bought one in another color for traveling.

Lightweight and cool. I have 2 colors

A functional sun hat the color of Utah's red rock desert (technically, the orange mineral in granite is feldspar, not quartz). It comes in different sizes and has both an adjustable elastic hat band and a chin strap so it stays on in the wind. Even my teenage daughter says it looks OK on me, so that's high praise.

Hat is light weight and provides great coverage . Easy to pack and I bring it along hikes, road-trips, and everyday activities. Would recommend, have two!

After a round or two with MOHS, I wear a hat. I've bought more hats than I care to admit, searching for the perfect hat(s), but the final count is that 4 out of 7 of the hats that I always wear are OR hats. OR wins pretty convincingly, I'd say.

I love this sun hat! It is comfortable and lightweight! The only downside is that it catches the wind and makes the brim flop up.

The color is a faded blue-gray with a hint of green, very much lighter than I expected from the picture. Otherwise it works well. My previous OR hat (similar model, now apparently discontinued) had to have an extra knot in a strong wind (a bow tie under the cinch); so far the cinch on this one appears to hold well by itself.

Good fit, lightweight. I didn't give 5 stars because the rim is not shape able and I'm not sure how much actual Sun protection I'll get but it is comfy

Fits great, true to size, excellent quality. Could have a bit more venting to improve breathability.

I use my hat every day while walking the dog and also for an occasional hike. I got the red and I live the color, not too bright or loud, and goes with everything. I have a small head so it's hard to find a women's hat that's not so big. The good thing about this hat is that you can adjust the size around you head. It's very comfortable, lightweight and breathable. If I could change one thing about, I'd like to make the brim a little smaller. Other than, it's perfect.

I love this hat! Took it on vacation recently and it was a great help in the South Pacific sun. It provided great protection, and was breathable so I didn't end up with a sweaty head. Hat head was also minimal, which was surprising given that I have very thick and curly hair. I was able to tighten it so it stayed put in the breeze. I only wish that the brim was sturdier because it kept flipping up in the wind. Although, because it wasn't a really stiff brim, I was able to pack it without worrying about crushing it. As for drawbacks, I would do away with the embroidery in the front. Someone asked if the "OR" were my initials monogrammed on the hat. Since coming home, the hat washed and dried well and is ready to go out again. I'm looking forward to my next adventure with it.

My wife uses this hat on our daily walks/hikes. Likes it very much. Would not protect you in a downpour, but keeps the sprinkles off.

The only reason that I did not give this hat 5 stars was because it would be nice to have a vent. However, it works well in the sun, and it's the color that I wanted.

So lightweight, it doesn't cause horrible hat hair (just mild hat hair ;-) and is comfortable in the sun - good brim width - fun color - but it just doesn't look very good on me, just functional.
