I used it today on warm hike. It did a good job at keeping the blazing sun off my head.

I have a small head and find it hard to find a hat that fits. This hat in size small fits really well and is adjustable.

Originally got this to keep the sun of my scalp (I burn easy). Not only does it help in the sun, but when surprise thunderstorms arrive, you keep your head dry as well! I like the simple decoration on the front, not too showy.

We use these in rain and sun, and have been very happy.

Great hat for someone with a smallish head. I wear it when I walk the dogs, at the dog park and when I travel. Keeps the sun off my face and neck and doesn't feel too hot, even when the temperatures reach the 100's.

Great hat for yard work, hiking, and boating in Florida. Has a wide enough brim to protect from the sun, but not blow around too much when out on the water or in heavy wind. I like having both an adjustable cord and a chin strap. One of the few hats that has fun colors [which also allow my husband to spot me in a crowd]. This hat is also packable. I would recommend it to anyone.

This hat is great for working in hot weather and helps to protect your neck from the sun as well.

I love the color and the size. I have a very large women's head, and this fit perfectly.

I order 2 different colours for golf. Good total coverage. With the adjustment around the head & the chin strap they are great in the wind.

I am a proud owner of the celery green one because it's was on sale! LOoks like hat will pack super easy and give some protection with rain in addition to the sun. Adjustable for a snug fit.

I seem to have a huge head for a girl, and have issues trying to find hats that don't give me a headache. This fits great! The brim is nice and wide, and works well with my bug head net. The hat itself is very light. I've yet to test it in the field, but as a field biologist I'll be putting it through its paces this summer. It seems well made, so hopefully it will serve me well.

I replaced my current hat with this one because my old one needed to travel flat or the brim bent. This hat packs well in a bag. LOVE it!

I use it at the beach

Spent a week backpacking in the Peruvian Andes with this hat. It was durable with heavy downpours keeping my face dry and also provided amazing sun protection at 15,000 feet. Would recommend!

Adjustable size and draw string make this hat nice and secure. The wide brim offers super sun protection. Looks great too!

I bought this to keep the sun out of my eyes and the heat off of my head when I have the top off of my Jeep, because it cinches nicely and won't fly off - but once I realized how comfy it is, I wore it everywhere this summer. It's light and airy and provides great sun protection while preserving your peripheral vision, and it won't make you sweat or get hat hair. It's great for the beach and the woods, and it keeps its shape after being crammed into a glove box or backpack. Washes nicely too! I bought two more when my mom and sister wouldn't give mine back. :-)

Great for hiking or going to the beach. Nice big brim and beautiful colors. Have one in fusia, teal, and purple. Has a strap in case it gets windy. What I appreciate the most is that it comes in larger sizes for women because I have a large head and can not find nice hats that fit my head.

Wore this HAT in Tortola on a rigid inflatable boat tour at speeds up to 50 mph across the water...it stayed in place and provided good coverage from the BVI sun!

I love this hat! It is so lightweight that when I wear this hat it doesn't feel like I have a hat on at all. I have always had a hard time finding hats to fit my head just right but this one fits my head perfectly. I wear it everywhere not just when hiking. Love the color too. You will not be disappointed in this hat.

This hat keeps the sun off, is light weight, floats, and is the perfect adventure hat. It fits comfortably, and the ability to tie it around keeps it on in windy conditions, which is important if you are at the top of a volcanoe. The wide brim keeps the water off you in a torrential downpour. It is lightweight, making it perfect to pack or fit in your pocket. It washes up like new, its bright color makes you easy to spot in a sea of people. I left mine on a bus in Guatamala, so have to buy another one, These Outdoor research hats are the best I have found so far.
