This shoe is around $100 more than I have ever spent on unattractive shoes I have purchased for standing and cycling. But I've gone thru so many plus returned a handful more I finally bit the bullet on these. I am not sure I'd ever go back to the cheap route now. These are exactly what I wanted for my bike. No laces, thin, all black, the fabric on the tip of the shoe is reinforced, amazing comfort. Honestly, I need an 11.5, so had to buy the 12, and it's ever so slightly long. But I love these shoes and the extra space isn't a problem.

Cute shoe, but the heel was not narrow enough for my foot , and slipped when I tried to walk. I love Munro shoes, and was disappointed these did not work.

These were a replacement for a pair that I've had for probably 12 years. Obviously, I liked them! I have worn them literally all over the world since they feel like tennis shoes, but look a tad better. Unfortunately, the old ones finally fell apart. Munro is one of the few companies that makes narrow widths.

These are so comfortable it feels like I don't even have shoes on! I tried them on and didn't take them off for the rest of the day, which included walking the dog twice and lots of errands so I was on my feet a lot. Others have commented that aren't the most stylish, and I can see that - they sort of look like all-black bowling shoes - but I think they're kind of cute, actually. Love these!

Super cute, super comfortable, but I have a wide toe box and a normal size heel, and my heel kept coming out of the shoe when I walked. Thus, back it goes :(

I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear. My foot wouldn't get into the shoe.

Have a problem with right foot and need wide width for toe box. These shoes provide this, but a bit loose in the heel, but not bad enough to not keep the shoes. Nice looking with pants and comfortable.

I love these shoes - they're not a big fashion style but who cares? They're comfy, wide enough and the uppers don't rub on the top of hammertoes. This is my 4th pair of this style over the years - I just wear them out! I agree - wish there were more colors. I also have orthotics I wear with many of my shoes but don't even need them with this style. I just bought my latest pair "just in case' the style gets discont'd; my 3rd pair isn't worn out yet but best to be prepared. Worth the money.

Attractive and comfortable

I love these Munro shoes. This is probably my sixth pair over the years. I wish Munro would add back the other colors which used to be available. I use them with a brace and they are perfect for travel and everyday activities.

These shoes are super comfortable. When I put them on .....pillow soft. Yes, I would recommend these shoes.

Love these shoes. This is my third one

My regular shoe size is 11.5 B. I moved up a width size to compensate for the overpronation in the right foot. I have plenty of space in the toe box. There is no arch support insoles. The shoe does not cushion your feet like a sneaker (Ascis Kayano). I put a gel insoles on top of Munro's insoles. This has given me some cushioning & arch support. I have only wore the shoes indoors on carpet and linoleum. I do like the style of the shoes for causal & office attire.

Although the shoes were overall slightly large (same size and width ordered on previous Munro shoes) I wore heavier socks or an orthotic to make it work. Loved the shoes and wanted them for a vacation. SO DISAPPOINTED! When I started really wearing them on trip, I ended up with blisters on all of my toes on one foot. Thankfully I have sneakers with me. My bad..,should have worn them at least a week. Before taking them on trip

Third pr. I am returning to Zapos on account of fit. Always wore Munroe. Now fit has changed - become too large.

I have unusually wide feet. 12ww is my size. The length of my foot is actually a 10. NOBODY makes size 10 wwww. I’ve got to wear 12ww. I love this shoe because if I have blisters, arch pain, swollen feet, hurt heel and I feel like I just can’t walk anymore all I do is put on Joliet and the pain evaporates. This is the reason I buy munroe shoes. It happened with the first pair I bought and I’ve been hooked ever since. I can find other shoes that fit but those shoes would not be soothing for my foot after it was swollen and had blisters.

Overall these shoes are comfortable and have moderate arch support. The material is nice and the shoes look professional enough with black slacks. By the end of a long day on my feet, they felt a bit tight.

I own two older pairs of this shoe (black and brown), probably bought 7+ years ago. I was looking to replace the black pair. These are noticeably narrower in the bunion area of the foot, too tight to keep. The heels also seem much wider--even than my worn out pairs! Sad because the soles on my old pair are really wearing down and I was looking forward to a new one. If you don't need a big toe box, I'd still recommend this shoe. I'd also say it's more stylish than some comments suggest, for a comfortable pair of shoes to wear with slacks.

These shoes are beautiful. I was really hoping that they would work out for me but they are way too narrow for my foot. I usually take a SS width in a Trotters shoe so thought the same might work with Munro's but I think the Narrow size would be the way to go with Munro shoes. Also, I expected them to be a bit more padded on the inside but they were rather stiff for what I consider to be a sport shoe. Sad to say, I'm sending them back.

These are really beautiful shoes and I really wanted them to fit. The narrow was too wide for my heal but too narrow up at the toe. I wish the toe was more square than what it actually was, although from the picture I was hoping that it was wider at the toe box. Disappointed that I have to return them.

Too bad these shoes didn't work. I wear full orthotics and the toe box was not wide enough and I wear a wide width. The style wasn't bad but just like some other reviewers mentioned, these are not as comfortable as my other Munro shoes and boots. They have to go back ! Would love if Munro widen the toe box and squared it off ! And Zappos, keep doing what you are doing. .I'm a loyal VIP member !

Ok utility shoe. Kept the shoe but will not be a daily go to. Not as comfortable as my other Munro shoes

These were a bit narrow and VERY long.

Unfortunately this newest production of the shoe is wider (and longer) than the one from several years ago. Regarding others' comments that the die rubs off inside - that happened on the old version too! Only giving 2 stars to credit the company for bringing back a useful style.
