The materials are soft and light but the sizing run small. I normally wear 8 but I got 7 fit perfect but maybe if I get the 71/2 would be good but it sold out quickly. The shoes kind a narrow for me since I have a wide feet but the length is perfect

I use these to teach my Bodypump lessons in. Yes there are more specific trsiners for weights, but the Gazelle has a flat sole that insures good connection to the floor...so why not use them for weight based exercise? The bonus is they look great with a classic design.
