I normally wear a true 8.5 medium, but went with a wide knowing that I would wear this with a bit thicker sock and switching to a trimable orthotic. It worked perfectly for that intent. The shoe fits more like a 9 before the thicker sock and orthotic, so know that this shoe has a little wiggle room in the length.

Love that Dansko is now bringing in shoes in W. That being said, the Dansko Honor still felt a bit narrow with socks. I bought them to walk around town and parks. The sole seemed a bit stiff and hard and I knew by the end of the day my feet and legs would be aching. The shoe is attractive. Thanks Zappos for the variety of sizes, but this on was not for me.

to find the right fit in this shoe, it is important to know what socks you plan to wear with it. Normally I wear a medium width, but this shoe is narrow such that I needed a wide. Although I like a wide toebox, usually I cannot wear a wide because my heel is narrow and slips. But because this is a lace-up shoe, I can tighten up to prevent heel from slipping. It is very comfortable and I can stride out. I needed something to wear with black jeans and an alternative to boots. I would buy a 2nd pair in a lighter color but sadly there are not many colors in the size wide.

Purchased after my Daughter raved about them. Haven't taken on a five mile walk yet but on first try on they felt like comfy slippers. Purchased the 8.5-9 wide black suede and happy to report they don't make my feet look clunky. Usually wear 8.5 so sizing seems right on. First time for me with this tie system -- elastic with slider -- think I like it. On the high side price wise but feel they will be a good investment to keep me on my feet. Would recommend.

Really a stylish shoe with great flexibility in the sole. It was just a tad too short for my problem feet. I hate to return these but cannot walk in them.

Very comfortable right out of the box. Not super fashion forward, which is fine with me, but a sleeker alternative to athletic or “walking” shoes.

Love this shoe! However, I have worn Dansko Clogs forever In a SIZE 41 so I ordered the shoe in a 41. It was too large so I will be sending it back and ordering a 40. I just hope it will be large enough-otherwise I might try the 41 in a narrow.

Finally, after ordering many pairs of shoes, I found the perfect fit! My foot requires a wide toe box, but I have a narrow heel. What I needed was a shoe that was easy to put on (due to my high arch) and an adjustable lacing system to make the heel part snug. This Dansko shoe does all that. The foot bed is a little more stiff than I usually wear ( hence the 4 for comfort), but it is not a deal breaker. I love everything else about this shoe and it is a keeper! Thank you Zappos for your patience and terrific, fast service. You are the best!

The Dansko Honor is Good looking, fits true to size and is comfortable. I love the bungee laces, it is not easy to find them on most athletic shoes. I would purchase again and in fact would like to own them in other colors.

Love these! They're just what I was looking for--athletic shoe style in a neutral color. I wasn't sure the sizing would match up for me, but they fit perfectly--even the width, which is rare for my really wide feet. Felt good while on my feet for a few hours traipsing after my daughter's marching band. First pair of Danskos I've worn, and would recommend them.

I’m very happy with this shoe. Only the wide was available in my size so I got it anyway. Turns out, I’m so glad I got a wide - it fits my size 42 foot very well. I have a high instep and I was concerned about the laces and the top being too tight on my instep. Not tight at all on my instep. Very pleased with this very comfortable and stylish Dansko.

I have been a Dansko fan for several years, only clogs and sandals though. Being a nurse I am on my feet a lot, comfort is a must! I recently purchased the (I call athletic shoes). Love them!!! All Dansko shoes run about 1/2 size small. They are comfortable, I would highly recommend Dansko.

Why didn’t I think to check Dansko for walking gym shoes before? This are cute and wonderfully comfortable. I’m testing them at Disney World, I’ll revise if I don’t feel the same way after the trip.

This is my third pair of Dansko Honor shoes. I wear a 38 in Dansko and that's what I ordered. I wear a 7 1/2 in Thierry Raboutin, an 8 in a court tennis shoe (Asics), a 39 with the new Naot sizing (used to be a true 38), and a 7 1/2 in Beautifeel shoes and Volatiles. My heel is a bit narrow so slip on shoes tend to slip off. These Dansko's fit great. They mold to my feet without a break in period. I've walked all over several big cities in them. They are a small shoe, not big and chunky like my Merrells. I love them.

True Dansko fit and support, width is gracious and support is subtle but secure.

I was extremely impressed with these shoes. They are very light weight, sturdy, and attractive. The fit is perfect, and the heel of the footbed is well cushioned. They are almost a “dress” sneaker. The bottom tread is not deep, so they don’t have a lot of traction, but also will not collect a lot of dirt. The blue color is attractive, and true to the photos. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

This is my first pair of Dansko shoes. So far I really like them. They are extremely comfortable and I really like the color (blue). Arch support is enough for me and they are pretty cute looking. Easy to take on and off. Happy with purchase.

These feel incredibly light on my feet with good arch support. However I have a wider foot so would need to get the wider pair. I also did not really like the fake shoe ties as they are a weird loop at the top that stick out.

I spend a lot of time in Danskos while I work and love them. Wanted something lighter and more casual to wear with shorts for Disneyland. These were absolutely fantastic!! They are very light-weight, have good arch support, heel cushion, and the tongue/elastic lace is very comfortable. I wear an 11, slightly wide foot, and have some ankle issues. I am very happy with these!

I wear a 10.5 shoe but have a narrow arch and bunions, plus previous surgery left some tender scar area. This shoe fit perfectly and my feet don't look like boats! The laces allow me to tighten over the narrow arch but leave room for the bunion. I don't know why others are objecting to the laces, they just tighten and the extra length is easy to tuck right into the lower laces. May even order in another color after I wear these around for a while.

I love Zappos! I finally found The One - pair of sneakers, that is. These are a little bit more than what I usually like to spend on a pair of sneakers, (my usual is $50-75) but the old adage of you get what you pay for is sometimes true. These are very well made and I expect they will last beyond my usual lifespan of 3 years for a sneaker. There is a removable insole that is comfortable enough for now, but I expect I will replace it with another one. I love the drawstring in place of the laces. I never take the time to untie my laces. As for fit - I would say they are true to size. I am a difficult fit, 8.5 W. I ordered a 39 W and although they were a bit tight when I first put them on I adjusted the draw cord and now they are perfect. They are very cute as well. I chose the black/black suede, I appreciate the low contrast dark gray accents. Low key cool. I think they would be very inconspicuous under a pair of trousers, but they also go well with an athleisure look. Well packaged and delivered in a timely manner too!

I have this style in blue & I wanted another pair in black. Zappos pricing is pretty much the same as other shoe sellers. I chose to order the shoes through Zappos because of their fantastic customer service!!

I have two pairs of this shoe. These are the only shoes I can wear to work everyday without coming home with achey ankles/knees. I am on my feet all day, and these seem to hold up very well.
