I loved these shoes right out of the box, and I have had a lot of foot injuries and am very hard to fit. I also need a firm footbed, which almost never comes along with style. I love the fashion detail on the straps, and also the colored heel. I have now ordered both black and taupe. Unfortunately I don't like the ivory, but if Dansko starts making this shoe in additional colors, I'll be buying more. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars for comfort is that one of the straps just hits my bunion, which gets sore after a while so I can't wear these all day. If only that strap were moved just a little... But I know that's a highly individual thing, and I'll be happy with these.

bought these in Tan , great arch support ,loved style, height, bummer was the foot bed is rubber , or something other than a normal smooth comfortable foot bed, I dont, understand its like they think your going in the stream with them but the soft swade could never tolerate that . To bad had to send them back , I should mention my feet are sensitive and I need smooth and comfort.

Great fit -- I wear "43" narrow, which is 11.5. Shoes are lightweight but strong. EXCELLENT idea for hook/loop closure under a "fake" buckle -- a lifesaver for those of us who have trouble getting into a yoga pose to close our shoes. THESE ARE COMFY right out of the box. Soft nubuck, cute studding on the top. Love, love love.

Excellent shoes, except the size which is one size too large and 1/2 size too wide. Will try the next size.

These are wonderful, comfortable sandals! I normally have difficulty finding sandals that fit my wide feet, but these were perfect right out of the box. The sole provides support while also being cushioned enough to make these shoes great for walking. I love them so much that I'm planning to buy a second pair in a different color. (Note: The buckle on the strap is just decorative, and has velcro underneath. It's a large patch of velcro, though, so I'm pretty sure it will last a long time.)

The unicorn shoe!!!! The impossible-to-find comfortable-and-cute sandal good for someone with a host of foot problems (plantar fasciitis, neuroma, running injuries up the wazoo). This sandal has a high enough arch to support the plantar fasciitis, and is stable enough for long walking. I am ordering more, before they disappear like the rest of the unicorns.

I have horrible feet and have had 6 different surgeries on them I had to give away all my shoes and boots because I could not wear them these shoes are so comfortable I would by them in all style and colors they come in....

I love these madly. As soon as I tried them on I wore them for about 48 hours straight except when I was sleeping. Unfortunately it runs quite large. I wear a 37 in most Danskos, but 36 in sandals. I ordered 36 and I feel like my toes are flopping around a bit. I wish there was a 35 I could try. I would love if the show had a less flexible sole, since I have plantar fasciitis and I like a lot of stability. Also wish there were more colors and a less dressy design. I bought these to be my everyday sandals for summer in NC because I can't wear flip flops.

As someone who has lived on an island for 20+ years and always wore flip flops it was time I switched to a more supported shoe. I am super pleased with my Dansko sandals and happily wear them all the time! Love the Velcro for easy on and off comfort.

I read all the reviews, plus reviews on other shoe sites, which can at times be a blessing or a curse when purchasing on-line. My shoe size is 8 wide, have had foot surgeries which left me with one foot slightly wider than the other, and arthritis in the toes. Opening the box I was very delighted with the taupe shimmer suede color, a nice classy look. I chose size 39 and what a perfect fit! Enough width so they aren't tight and rubbing, but not loose either. Toes not hanging over the front. I prefer a foot bed I can clean and my foot did not stick to it because of the tiny grids in the bed. Hook and loop closer a nice plus. Wore the sandals for the first time last weekend, 5 hours sitting/standing, and it was so comfortable and cushioning to my foot and no aching toes! The perfect sandal for me.

I finally found a comfortable, yet stylish summer sandal for all day walking! After many Zappos returns, this one has a supportive, cushioned, thick enough sole that has good arch support. I like that the ankle strap is Velcro. I wear a 9 1/2, and had to get these in a 39. I ordered them in taupe and black!

This sandal hits the almost impossible to find sweet spot of soft, cushy insole with excellent arch support. I have high arches, but need the padding, and the Cindy sandal was comfortable right out of the box. The inside finish on the straps is smooth and soft. The front straps aren't adjustable, so someone with a narrow foot might move around too much in these, but they fit my just slightly wider than medium feet just fine.

These shoes are sooooooo comfortable! Stylish too! Love them. They are true to size and width.

These shoes didn't go with the dress I bought them for but they are so comfortable that I am keeping them and will wear them with capris and shorts. I also like the fun style.

Great shoes! Sadly the stripes across the forefoot are not adjustable resulting in one shoe too tight, the other too loose. Sorry

Excellent arch support, but these run large and wide. I have tried two sizes and would need to size down to 38 when I wear a true 8.5. These shoes were too chunky a style for me, like training shoes to wear after foot surgery. Better for those with a medium to large build.

Not the sexiest shoe, but if you want a casual sandal to run errands in all day, this is perfect. This shoe is incredibly comfortable right out of the box. (and at this price, it should be) If your feet are wide, this sandal is great for you.
