Love these shoes! I have terrible feet(also nasty back problems)but need to be on them for 5-6 hours at a time for work. We are not allowed to wear lace-up shoes or open toes, therefore requiring something that looks great with all types of clothing. from casual to dress. They are extremely comfortable (plenty of cushioning and support)and are utterly becoming to the foot/leg. This is my 3rd pair of non-clog style Danskos and I highly recommend the brand for comfort and durability.

Dansko Laura is a great shoe! Comfort and all the latest style: wedge, perforations, zipper accent, suede all in a pretty plum color that is really a neutral. Looking forward to traveling with this shoe, it goes with everything!

These shoes are extremely comfortable, supportive, and versatile. I just received the Walnut and Black colors and went back right away to order the plum. I normally wear a standard size 12M and I was surprised to see that the size 42 actually had room for my fat toes without making the shoe look chunky. I am an older woman who needs a shoe with good balance but I hate to sacrifice comfort for style. This shoe has a lot of both. Plus,inside the box, there is a sticker saying that these nubuck shoes have had a Scotchguard treatment, which makes it even better. The perforations at the front look cool and will keep my "little piggies' nice and cool on those hot days when I do not want to wear an open-toed sandal. It is early March but I intend to wear them in CT this weekend with a black "knee high" stocking and start wearing them barfooted very soon. I expect these shoes will add distinction to my wardrobe from early March through late November. Color Me HAPPY! Thank you Dansko for The Laura!!!!!

I have always found this brand too big for my medium width size 7-7.5 feet but these work! Very comfortable right out of the box and versatile, can be worn from casual to relatively "dressy" events.

I have been looking for a transitional shoe that could carry me winter through spring, and Dansko's Laura has been the ticket. Comfortable, versatile, and stylish -- from the very first wearing. I wear this shoe with knee-high socks when the weather is cold, and go sock-less when the temperatures soar. The Laura hits all the high notes!

I really was hoping these would work for me - loved the style and the foot bed seemed very comfortable but oddly the right shoe was very loose with almost stretched out elastic and the left shoe's elastic was too tight across my in step. (Oddly so. Maybe it was a defective pair.) It is definitely worth giving these a try as most reviewers were very satisfied.

The most comfortable heels! Just hope the beige one doesn't have such bright straps.

At least seven people, so far, have stopped me on the street to ask me about these shoes. Granted, they're all age 60 plus- but hey- we deserve stylish, fashion forward, super comfortable and supportive shoes that accommodate orthotics. I have them in black and the very cool greenish-gray. I'm thinking of getting them in the burgandy as well. They're that perfect. I have spent hours scouring Zappos for shoes that fit this bill. Dansko is hands down the best. The Jenna in metallic is not quite as supportive but is also very cool looking and good enough. The Hazel is great for knocking about on weekends- lightweight and very comfy.

Love, love, love the support this shoe gives but unfortunately, the euro sizes for size 11-12 are too short. Had to return. Get more in euro 43! Love Zappos!

This style uses the same or very similar footbed/sole as another pair of Dansko's that I have, which is why I ordered this shoe. It is flexible and very comfortable to walk in. I liked the black color so much that I ordered the walnut as well. I like the style a lot possibly because it reminds me of ballet shoes (had dance lessons growing up). I am keeping both colors. The walnut color shown is close to the real thing, although I would describe it as wet sand. The straps are nowhere near as shiny, which is good. They are a muted bronze-gold and don't stand out as brassy or garish. The dark sand color goes with a lot of different clothes. Some commenters for the boot style noted that the flexible sole is somewhat soft, so is not as stable as the clogs, for example. That is true, and so if someone has weak ankles this sole might not be the right style. I bought them as dress shoes, not walking shoes, although I walk a lot in them. I recommend them, both the black and the walnut.

Just received these and they fit perfectly. Incredibly soft and comfortable while providing good support. They look great with leggings and a short dress as well as with pants. I walk a lot and I'll wear these all summer.

I love these shoes. They were more spectacular than the picture implies. The color is slightly richer on the real shoe. The structure of the shoe is solid. I wore them for a full day at work and a walk around a 2-mile lake afterward. I did not experience any discomfort. To the contrary, the shoes provided excellent support. The elastic bands have enough give when you walk but are not too loose, which I worried about. In terms of style, the shoes have a becoming shape, which I think will hold. Some shoes stretch after a year of wear. The box of the shoe seems well-designed. I have the impression that they will hold their shape. After just a few days of wearing them to work, I've already had a few co-workers inquire about the brand. One woman has already ordered a pair. I didn't want to take them off when I got home. Danskos are a bit expensive, but they are almost always worth the extra money.

Very comfortable and very stylish shoe. I can wear these shoes with dress pants, jeans, long skirts and dresses.

Very stylish and super comfortable even for not so slim flat feet. Stretchy and accommodating but super cute. The texture up front doesn't stand out as different from the back. I can't find comfortable cute shoes but these are it! With they had other solid colors.

I really liked this shoes - I did ordered a half size larger for me as sometimes in the the summer my feet swell a little - very comfortable - and I loved the color

I was hoping these would be comfie for a sit/stand workstation in a cold office. They are comfie but I just can't get past the ugly factor if the shiny elastic on top. If it were a different type of ankle strap I would have kept these.

I absolutely loved the look of these shoes. Unfortunately, they were too small even though I ordered the size 42 (11.5 - 12). I wear a size 12 and these were just too small to get my foot in and zip up the back. I had to send them back, so sad, as these were truly very cute shoes!!

So comfortable and so cute! However, the zipper tends to fall down after I've walked a few dozen yards. Irritating to have to zip it up repeatedly when I'm walking around. Anyone else have this issue, or any solutions?

While the size felt true, my foot felt like it was in a straight jacket because of how high the straps and back of the shoe are--they are way above the ankle bone. Also, the elastic straps were a little snug exerting slight pressure and I thought that over a full day's wearing, they could become uncomfortable. They looked really cute, though, but I had to return.

Great shoes. I even got them for my mother. However, I have narrow feet and narrow heels, so they felt a tad too big. But they are extremely comfy and stylish!!!!

Although these seem comfortable enough (spend a lot of time standing & walk 3 miles/day to work) & the length & width is good (41 fits well I need length between a 10 & 10.5), they are going back. The black nubuck is too dusty looking; making it too casual of a look for me. With all the walking I do, I believe these would start to look raggedy. The heels buckle slightly on both sides & think this would get worse. I agree that they are noisy (on bare floors) which never gets better. Lastly, I couldn't get the left shoe to unzip. As another reviewer said, too expensive a shoe for so many negatives. I'll look for a leather shoe with lower ankle straps.

I was a little unsure when buying these, but I wanted them for work so I chose function over fashion. They're a little goofy looking and make a weird squeaking pop sound when I walk. My feet ached when I wore them and the shoe also rubbed a blister on my heel (in addition to dying my heels black!) that has not healed yet. They are too expensive for me to be this unhappy with them and I have to return them.
