I’ve been thinking about these for years and finally decided to get them this spring! They are so comfortable and I love the height they give me. I wasn’t sure about the Velcro, but in person you cannot tell at all. The yellow is brighter than I thought, but I like it!

I have wide feet and have always had huge issues with most shoes. Most shoes hurt my feet as soon as I step in them, the others hurt if I walk for more than 10 minutes, which makes testing shoes difficult even in store. Only 10% of shoes end up being ok for me, and I loved this Dansko pair! It's cute, not tacky and trying to proclaim "I have ugly feet!" to the world. I walked the cobblestone streets of Spain for 2 weeks for miles in these, and my feet never felt better. The shoes remain intact at the end of the trip to boot! Now I'm considering buying them in multiple colors. Highly recommended!

The fit of these sandals is right on the mark as I usually wear a 6 in American shoes or a 35 in Alegria shoes and I bought the 36. I cannot express how happy I am to find these sandals due to the fact that in 2011 I was diagnosed with Hallux Rigidus which is painful beyond belief. The fact that these shoes had a steel shank was the seller for me as the Drs. said I must wear a very hard sole shoe to walk without pain. I have tried these on and walked around the house and no pain at all. The best part is that I am getting some height enhancement with these (only 4'10")!!! The adjustability of these shoes is great due to small bunions also on both feet. The leather is not too stiff which is important to me due to sensitivity in my forefoot. Yes, I have a lot of foot issues but if they are so great for me imagine how they will feel on someone with normal feet!!! I have gotten the red and pewter and plan to buy the black and cobalt very soon. You will love these shoes just give them a try!!!

These sandals are cute and comfortable. They have adjustable Velcro straps across the toes and around the ankles. I normally wear a size 39 in Danskos, but needed a 40 with this style.

These were very cute comfortable shoes. Wish I could keep them, but I had to return them only because they didn't work for me. My second toe on one foot is a hammertoe so it's always bent and sticks up. Unfortunately, with the design of these sandals, the second toe is visible and accentuated. I'm writing this review for others with the same foot problem.

This one is a winner!! I've been looking for a while and finally jumped on these sandals and they are perfect. The heel gives me just a little boost in height with a wide, stable base. The style looks adorable on - funky and feminine, cute with jeans, capris or skirts. I typically wear an 8 and the 38 fits perfect.

Ordered size 37 (which always have been my size. I’m from Europe) but my big toe was hanging over a bit. So either my foot has grown or these shoes run small. :) I’ll return them and order a size up because I LOVE THEM! They are super comfortable, cute and adjustable for width and ankle. That is very important to me since I have a wider foot and always have trouble finding cute sandals for summer that don’t pinch sides of my foot. The comfort is a huge plus because I have a 6 year old to chase around. Now I can do it in style!!!!

Wore them continually! Easy to dress up or down. Solid sole great for my hallux limitus. However, the best innovation is that the toe piece is adjustable; it looks like a buckle, but it isn’t, and it’s totally fantastic. Instead of a functional buckle, there’s hidden Velcro underneath. This renders any potentially endless and un-ergonomic fiddling with shoe buckles completely unnecessary, very much appreciated. I really hope that more shoe and sandal styles will incorporate this stroke of genius into their design! Comfortable right out of the box. Thank you!

These are great! Very comfortable right out of the box. I am a grandma, 63, but I still love pretty shoes and this stone metallic color is pretty. Heel is perfect height, 1" platform very stable and comfy, velco straps hold securely. I may need another pair of these!

I love these shoes. I wear a size 7, but the 37 was just a smidge too small, so I ordered the 38 and they fit perfectly. They are so comfortable, I can wear them all day. I often have trouble with cheap shoes hurting my feet. These are so worth the price. You will not regret it.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. My new favorite summer shoe! The nude color is perfect for wearing with ANYTHING! CUTE and COMFORtable. I have a really high arch and these provide excellent arch support. I usually wear an 8 to 8.5 and the 39 fit perfect. Fully adjustable from narrow to wide width.

I loved these Dansko Season sandals size 42, 11.5-12. If they were 1/2 to 1 size larger they would have been perfect! My toes were hanging over the footbed about 1/2 inch so I had to return them. Too bad, such a Beautiful and comfortable shoe.

I have worn Dansko clogs for work. This was the first time that I have purchased anything else. I really wanted to like all of this shoe but do not. The straps for the ankle are too big in the back and my foot slips inside the shoe. The strap can not be tightened as it then cuts into the top of my foot.

Thank you Dansko. I LOVE, LOVE THIS SHOE!!! I just ordered the black ,which makes my third pair of this shoe. I am able to wear all day shopping, which is saying a lot for me. I have found that not all Dansko are as comfortable as this shoe. Thank you again Dansko.

My first pair of Dansko shoes and these sandals are very comfortable and stylish. The higher heel is very stable and I don’t feel like I am going to twist my ankle or stumble when I wear them. I normally were a 6.5, but the European size 37 was way to large. I am keeping the 36 pair, but my toes are close to the tip of the shoes. My one main complaint are the Velcro closures. Seems that many brands are going this route. For me, I prefer buckles which remain secure when I walk.

I normally wear a pretty solid size 8 in US sizing and a 38 in European sizing. I ordered the 38 and it was too small. My toes and heel went all the way to the end. Returning for a 39.

This is a very comfortable shoe. My problem is sizing. I’m an 8 with one foot slightly longer. I tried the 38 and it’s was too short. I tried the 39 and it was too long so this style is just not suited to my feet. I have other Dansko in 38 that I love. This one sadly had to go back.

I love these sandals...only wish they were a 1/2 size larger...I got the largest size (42)and they barely work...I’m keeping them because they’re super comfortable and I like the style, since they’re open toed they work but wish I had a tiny bit more room. Too bad they don’t make in a 43, although that might be too large.

I am always a 36 in Dansko and it was so odd that the toe box of this sandal in a 36 was too short. I am trying s 37, but it might be just the shape of this shoe. We'll see.

i love this shoe it feels great unfortunately the the back strap is not adjustable and is too long around the back of my foot I don't know if it is due to the way they package it with the stick in the back that stretches out the strap

The length of the shoe was perfect, but the front is not adjustable and too large. As a result my foot slid so far forward in the shoe my toes were hanging off the front and there was a gap in the back. If I really tightened up the ankle strap the issue didn't occur, but now it was uncomfortable around the ankle.

The size was right, but I think the straps aren't attached in the correct part of the shoe because my whole foot was too far forward thus making my toes hang over the front edge a little. Also, the strap over the front of the shoe was a bit too wide. I didn't realize the buckle part was actually decorative only- Velcro is used to secure back strap. Too bad, I liked the style but the fit was just off for me.

I was so blinded by the beautiful color, tomato, that I didn’t read all the reviews. The color is gorgeous in person BUT the toe strap and ankle strap are Velcro. It’s so tacky and does not allow for any size options around the ankle like a buckle would. Plus the heels are made out of a light weight material that seems like it would damage easily. This is a huge step down in the quality I had come to expect from Dansko. At least Zappos has a great return policy for these duds!

Although it looks to have a normal ankle closure, the 2 pieces attached with VELCRO, and the metal piece you see in the image is just attached for decoration. Since I am not 4 years old I'm not particularly interested in velcro so going back. Terrible design decision and I'm glad I still have older dansko sandals with with normal 'belt' closure (I realize I dont know what to call it....but its how you would put on an ankle strap any other time..) Love the demin leather look otherwise.

Either my foot is defective, or the style in which shoes are now made has drastically changed. It's been impossible for me to find a shoe that actually fits properly. These sandals are so cute! Lovely color, however, as other comments have expressed the fit is totally off. It was a miracle to find a shoe that actually fit the width of my foot, but the length was totally off. As others experienced, my foot slid so far forward my toes were literally hanging off the front.
