I normally wear a 38 EU size and I ordered these in a 38. The were too small. Comfy. But too small. And I didn’t like the style enough to reorder a larger size.

I am a true size 8 in most shoes, and always a 38 medium width in Dansko clogs. However, the 38 in these sandals were way too short for me. I have pretty short toes, and they still hung over the front of the shoe. I found the 39 fit great. I recommend going up a size in these. I wish they had a little more arch support, but that's likely because I severely over-pronate and have flat feet. Probably fine if you don't have that problem.

Having problems with the fit of this shoe, returning the 2nd pair I purchased.

I LOVE LOVE these shoes, however the 39 really is an 8.5, and I'm more of an 8.5 wide. The shoes I received were also faulty as the straps on the top part of the shoe didn't line up so you could see the velcro. A BIG mis-step for Dansko is that the velcro goes all along the straps so if you adjust them at all (like wider) from the factory closures, the velcro will scratch your feet. I tried three pairs and it was the same in all three.

These shoes seemed like they’d be very comfortable, but they ran a little small. My left foot was fine, but my right foot is slightly larger and my toes hung off the front of the shoe. I’m disappointed to be returning because they seem like they’d be great shoes.

This are trully comfortable and sandals with excellent arch support. The sizing is off: it is a half a size wider but half a size smaller than expected.

Dansko shoes or literally the only ones have luck with. These fit great and they are a keeper. Thank you

Good for wide feet because they are completely adjustable. Only downside is that there is more pressure on the ankle strap when you have to loosen the toe straps. I bought these for long walks on vacations, but decided to get another pair as the heels were too difficult to walk even 2 miles in. They definitely had enough arch support that I was not sore at all (aside from breaking in the straps). I decided to keep them because they are too cute and perfect for a moderate amount of walking while completing an outfit.

Cute shoe but a little bit too small (Dansko rarely fit me perfectly, but these were so cute). Some rough parts on the leather, too, which I could feel becoming irritating within in a few minutes of putting on.

I love the larger toe box and it is a comfy shoe. However, the arch support didn't really line up with where my arch is, so if felt off. Great sandal, just not the right arch fit for me.

A bit too loose across the instep, and no adjustment possible.

The shoe felt all right on my feet, but something about the angle or heel height made my knees hurt. Sadly, I must return these.

The only reason I bumped this down one star is that I wish they came in one size smaller. They’re a little big on my size 5 feet. Otherwise I love them.

I'm returning and buying a second hand pair of an older style. The front strap of this one goes right over my 4th toenail, which doesn't look as nice and was uncomfortable (certainly would rub off my polish in no-time!). Part of what I want in a sandal is freedom for my toes!

This is one of my fav styles of dansko. The fact that it’s adjustable over the toes is the reason I choose it. I liked the Black and Tan color combo. Very neutral. I have this sandal in other colors. I ordered the orange and sent it back as it’s much brighter than photo online.

These are the most comfortable shoes in the world, EXCEPT -- PLEASE, OH PLEASE, DANSKO, MAKE THEM IN WIDE!!! I have bunions and painful feet -- as an older woman I'm losing some cartilage. These footbeds are spectacularly comfortable. HOWEVER, my wide foot spills over the sides, which does cause sharp pain after a while, where the foot hots the edge. Oh, if only they were wider they would be PERFECTION. I still wear them daily, though.

"Orange" shoes are orange. I thought they were red because of previous reviews, but no they are orange. Just in case someone else makes the same mistake!

Dansko sizing is inconsistent. I ordered these smaller than needed because I had just purchased another style, also Dansko, in that size. They were way too small. They were probably true to size but not consistent with past purchases of Dansko shoes.

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

These are very comfortable and cute, I like the 70s vibe. I have all kinds of feet problems and I walk a lot in the city, so I need supportive shoes. I love that both the toe and ankle straps are easily adjustable. It’s great to be able to adjust the tightness anytime I want to. (As long as you line up the straps carefully, you can’t tell it’s Velcro.) Wonderful support, as expect from Dansko. I have wide feet, and these shoes work well for me (as Dansko sandles usually do). They may not be good for people with narrow feet. I didn’t give them 5 because the straps do dig in just a little here and there after a while.

Darn! These are gorgeous sandals, but just too narrow across the toe. My pinkie was squeezed, even with the adjustable Velcro strap. I am so disappointed. I ordered another style (Roni) which are wider and fit very well, but they aren't as pretty or feminine and they have a flat, rubbery sole instead of a nice solid heel. Sigh. Oh well, at least I got one pair that I can wear without being squeezed.

I can't quite put my finger on why I just don't want to wear these shoes. I think they are much heavier and clunkier than my other danskos and comfort shoes. The design is really cute, but I can't tell I just won't wear them. I tried size 39 even though I am 7.5-8, it was a bit too large. I think I would be right to the edge of the 38s though. The strap around the back of the heel was so large that it didn't touch my foot... maybe they are mean to be worn short in length. I had ordered a similar pair a year or so ago (but returned it because I realized I needed to have a foot surgery), and I noticed they've changed the liner to be a gross feeling synthetic rather than a plush suede.

I love the style of these Dansko sandals very much but I've found now after owning them for a year that the Velcro closure on my left foot has degraded so much that it does not hold my foot in securely enough and I cannot wear them anymore without serious risk of turning my ankle. I have the same issue with the right side shoe but it isn't as pronounced. I'm very disappointed and will be seeing if this can be repaired by my local shop. I'll going to think twice about buying any other Dansko sandals with velcro closures in the future.

I read the reviews and ordered a size up. Fits great. Love them fit and look great.

I didn’t realize that ‘hook and loop’ closure was the equivalent of Velcro, and that there are ‘Velcro’ closures at both the toe and the ankle. If it had been ‘Velcro’ at either the toe Or the ankle, I’d feel better about keeping them. But I’m not sure ‘Velcro’ closures will be secure enough for anything more than light usage, and I may end up returning them. Otherwise, they seem great — comfortable and decent looking.
