A great variation of a classic. It gives just a bit of unexpected attention.

The shoes are very comfortable to the extent that even my bunions do not hurt when I ware them. Overall very good quality. The only problem is that they are extremely squeaky. I used to buy the exact same model before, and do not remember such problem. Returning, just because of the noise they produce. If you do not care about the squeaking, I would recommend.

I just went to the store to pick up my order. This is NOT a leather upper. It is a synthetic plastic feeling shoe. The people at the store and the woman at customer service number admit that ALL their shoes now are not leather. PLEASE don't say it is leather when it is not.

hard on feet, no cushion, have to size 1/2 down, narrow but long, not for wider feet.. i thougjy tennis shoe is comfortable but im wrong

Better material. You can feel how cheaply made it is when wearing them

The tongue on this shoe is extra long and stiff and it cuts into where it meets my leg and makes it red and aggravated. The whole show feels like plastic. Why is the tongue so long? It's a weird design choice. I have another pair of Stan Smiths (traditional white with green back, and also my favorite shoe I've ever owned) and the tongue is a typical length and feel and doesn't hit my leg. I haven't been able to wear this new black pair yet because I'm trying to break in the tongue a bit so it doesn't hit & rub on my leg so hard. I currently have the tongues wrapped up and bent backwards with elastic. I really love the look of this shoe and want it to work but I don't think it will work, even after my attempt to flex the tongue a bit. I've thought about taking them to a shoe repair person to cut the tongue and stitch it up but do I want to put that much money into these shoes? Overall, I'm extremely disappointed and probably won't buy another pair of Stan Smiths online where I can't try them on in person.

Truly a classic shoe that is worthy of the recognition and praise that it has garnered over the years.

I am a multi Stan smith purchaser and wearer for at least 15 years and I've always loved them for their quality and perfect look for every outfit and occasion. Over multiple pairs the quality has remained great until now. Unfortunately the quality has gone far downhill. These are totally different from the pair of Stan smiths I am replacing. I am so disappointed. I love my current pair but after 3-4 years the treads are about done. However the leather and cushioning are still in perfect condition. The new pair are not leather and are a hard, unbending synthetic material and there is almost zero padding on the heel or the tongue. They are also much wider than my prior pair. The quality and fit is not anywhere near what they used to be. I guess it's the end of an era- I'm no longer a Stan Smith die hard. I'm honestly so sad about this because I thought I would wear SS forever. DO BETTER ADIDAS!

One of my fav lifestyle sneaker. Size down 1 full size for tight fit or 1/2 size for loose fit. I'm a size 9 ordered 8.5 and will exchange for a 8.

I would have loved to keep this pair of shoes--so beautiful and light! I had one problem: the tongue cut onto my skin when i walk. I tried hoping it would stop but it kept cutting. No way i was gonna walk in them. I am devastated that i have to return. I even thought may be i cut part of the tongue off but that would definitely ruin it :( I will keep looking!

I was looking for a minimal/versatile all-white sneaker for casual wear, and got these in the Cloud White / Core Black / Cloud White color. I normally wear a women's size 7 for shoes worn with socks, but based on reviews, I decided to size down to W6.5. However, these were still about an index-finger too large, so I think a W6 would've been a better fit. Pros: I liked the clean all-white look, and it is light, so probably will be good for walking around. Cons: the W6.5 could have worked, but the toe-box was too spacious/large for me, and there was way too much squeaking from the tongue of shoe (might be because of the recycled material). Overall, I could deal with the squeaking, but sizing was off.

Super comfy and great looking. They run large and unfortunately when I tried to return for the half size smaller, they were not available.

Although I love them they seem of lesser quality than my last pair. Just do not feel as 'substantial'.
