These are my favorite sandals. They were originally the Patagonia "Bandha T-Strap" and I bought a pair over 5 years ago and have been searching for these sandals ever since. All of the features are the same in this Merrell version, but this sandal has a bit more support on the sole, which is even better. I have worn my 1st pair regularly for 6 summers, including lots of walking, standing, and working on my feet. They are almost completely broken because I have worn them so much, but I just wore them on vacation walking around. This gives me confidence that I can count on this Merrell version for at least another 5 summers!

I never write reviews but I had to for these because I love them. I wanted some cute sandals to wear with dresses, and I hate high heels. These are perfect, and comfortable too. Zappos is always my first choice for shoes - wonderful service.

Absolutely loved the look and feel of this shoe, but I have very narrow heels and ankles and the strap around my ankle was so loose on me that when I walked it slipped around too much. Sadly, I have to return them. : (

sturdy and cute. comfortable for fashionable sandals, though not as amazing as the sportier Merrell sandals. I like them.

Love these sandals! Comfort is the number one concern, and these have good arch support, and I could walk in them all day. I got the beet red, which is more of a raspberry, its a unique color that you don't see often. The T-Strap is just sexy, and I get compliments on them all the time. Great summer sandal to dress up or down!

I also had purchased this sandal in 2 colors when it was the Patagonia Bandha T strap and had been looking for them to replace the two that I wore out. I cannot tell you how thrilled I was to find them, now reinvented as the Merrill solstice. They improved them by adding the extra rubber sole to the ball of the shoe and not just on the heel like the older version. This is the only flat I can honestly say has arch support ! That is practically unheard of. I hope to have these for another 4 or 5 yrs but hope that Merrill continues to make them.

This sandal is comfortable and the beet red is a great color. I loved them, but thought the straps did not hold the shoe snugly on my foot. I believe my foot is on the wider side of medium, but these were still loose. Sad not to keep them.

These shoes look fantastic. Unfortunately, they seemed to run a bit big.

I stand all day at work and was looking for a sandal that wouldn't leave my feet aching at the end of the day. I have found that sandal! So comfortable and cute too.

Great shoe! I've been looking for a couple of years for a replacement for a pair of Sperry sandals that I finally had to get rid of - just wore them out. These will be perfect - neutral leather will go with everything, SUPER comfortable, even some arch support, and cute!

As noted by another reviewer,these were originally marketed as a Patagonia sandal at least 5 years ago. I still have my original worn , scuffed and loved pairs (yes , I bought more than one pair )...therefore I am delighted to be able to replace the scruffiest pair with fresh new ones........Thank you Merrell

I bought these super cute sandals in black for my two week trek across Italy. They are, by far, the most comfortable shoes in my suitcase. I averaged about 6 miles a day and these sandals have not disappointed. They have great arch support and curve up a bit at the big toe area so your big toe is not pounded all day. I highly recommend these sandals.

LOVE these sandals. They are sleek and sexy, and very comfortable. I love the grommets to close the straps, I think it's cool and different and way more comfortable than a regular buckle. The t-strap design is classy - this shoe can be dressed up or down very easily. I wanted a comfortable flat leather sandal that would hold up to long walks all summer, and I definitely found that in these shoes. Thanks again Zappos!

These sandals are very comfortable yet stylish at the same time. The metal buttons on the strap took a while to get used to, but I don't mind it. The natural color is great too since it goes with everything. They fit true to size.

I owed red these shoes for Easter I love them their so comfy and there really cute on . You can wear them with jeans or can dress them up their very versatile. I would definitely would recommend them to anyone . They do run true to size .

I really wanted to love these! And I do - but I struggle to find shoes that fit because my left foot is a 10.5 and my right foot is an 11. These in a size 10 were too small for my right foot; in the size 11 they were too wide for me. Will keep trying! Thanks, Zappos, for making this process easier!

Cute sandal, however, the closure on the side was a real pain! Sent them back.

I'd give these a 3.5 if I could. These are very nice looking sandals. I have the beet red, which are a lovely soft berry red color. I found them easy to do up. They were comfortable right away, with good cushioning, a tiny bit of arch support, soft leather, and a not-totally-flat sole. However, they are SO SO loose. I'm a 7 and ordered a 7. They are basically falling off my feet. My heel raises almost two inches off the sole when I step. There is a almost a 1/2 inch gap between my heel and the back. When I walk they flop all over. It is especially annoying when I turn or stop quickly, my heel will slide right off outside the heel cup. This problem is made worse because one shoe has a longer strap up the foot than the other, which makes it especially loose. I was disappointed to find such bad quality control at Merrell. There are only two options for tightness in the ankle strap (which doesn't do much to keep them on your feet), and so as they stretch out they'll get worse. This makes them difficult to walk quickly in. On the other hand, if you're a half size, don't worry about ordering down.

I was looking for a cute, comfortable summer sandal and I was really hoping these were the ones. I ordered the fawn and the color was gorgeous. This color would have gone with any of my outfits. As for comfort, I could have seen myself wearing these all day, every day with no problem. However, I returned them due to size. I'm typically a 6.5-7 and ordered the 7. The shoe was about a full size too big and very wide. I probably could have ordered the 6 just to see, except I wasn't that in love with them. I would recommend ordering this shoe if your on the fence. Hopefully you have better luck.

Stylish silhouette and comfortable, cushy sole. However, my feet kept riding up when I walked (they wouldn't stay in the footbed of the sandal), and the fastening mechanism wasn't my favorite, either (instead of a buckle, you had to force a metal button through a tiny hole in the leather, which took a few minutes of wrangling every time I put on the sandals).
