I have been looking for a comfortable shoe for my walks to and from the subway FOREVER. I have really weird feet - I have bunions which make the front of my feet kinda wide, hammer toes which make my toes touch the front of shoes when I'm walking, and very narrow heels which make any shoes that fit length-wise slip off the back and cause blisters or just generally be uncomfortable. As other reviewers have said, this shoe doesn't really have any arch support. This is not as important to me if the shoe is comfortable otherwise given my weird feet as stated above. I do think the only acceptable color is the Grey/Shadow color - the others kind of look like grandpa shoes. Wish they made better colors. I usually wear an 8.5-9 depending on the shoe. I needed an 8 in these to fit snugly on my foot, but due to the hammer toes problem I mentioned above, my toes DO still hit the front of this shoe. However, because the shoe is mesh, there is some give so it doesn't hurt. For me, this is the best I can hope for. I've spent hundreds and hundreds on shoes that don't fit great in some way or another. I have walked 5 miles a day in these every day this week - right-out-of-the-box and no blisters or foot pain. So in my opinion, these are amazing.

First time trying this brand. Nicely made with moderate support inside. Runs a little small I thought so I'll have to go up a size. Normally I wear a 7.5-8. Going for an 8.5 I think.

These shoes make my feet SO happy. The fit is amazing. I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes. I can't believe a shoe this light, thin, flexible could work. The thin insole has a gel squish feel to it, the heel is just the right shape around, and the sides don't come up too far on my ankle. The mesh is comfy and lets my skin breath. It's not exactly a long range walking shoe, but I love it for the short walk back and forth to my daughters school, or for wearing around the house doing chores.

I was about to return these. As stated previously by somebody else, the bottom is thin. So thin you can feel the rocks on the ground. There's a removable insole (which provides a moderate arch support) but it was so thin I felt like I was wearing slippers. Then I got a stylish pair of Sperry. Those are super nice looking but don't work well with my wife feet. After a couple of days of torture I ended up with blisters on my side pinkies. Lucky for me I didn't return the Olukai yet. So I replaced the insole with my super orthotics and it did the trick! The sole feels sturdier. I have a much better arch support. The shoe is not loose on your feet but it stretches wonderfully so your foot is snug but comfortable (even with blisters). It does look like a pair of slippers though. But the comfort is outstanding. The mesh let your feet breathe (perfect for spring summer) and the back can be fold down for a more easy on and off (good for airport security). I highly recommend these shoes.

My daughter told me about these shoes because she, her family, and I are going to Thailand and need comfortable light weight walking shoes. Right out of the box these shoes fit perfectly, with no pressure points or painful areas. I have bunions and hammer toes and these shoes still fit comfortably. I ordered an 8.5 in dark shadow, unfortunately they didn't have my daughter's preferred color in her size so I guess I'll be the one chasing the four and two year olds down. Planning on wearing them on the plane because they are so easy to slip on and off and are so comfortable. I think they will stretch too after the flight when your feet tend to be a little more swollen.

The fit is perfect and I wear them everyday. I bought this shoe for my husband too. I will buy another pair when these wear out.

These are a great fit for my feet and super comfortable. They look casual but not sloppy. I don’t love the tan color, but ordering another color because I like everything else about it.

I love everything about these shoes - the look, the fit, the color. I bought the charcoal color that has pink elastic. The pink gives it a more feminine look. I got hooked on Olakai flip-flops but never purchased their shoes. I was looking for shoes that would accommodate my swollen toe after I stubbed it on a brick fireplace hearth. This may be TMI but it had swollen to 4 times its normal size and my normal shoes were uncomfortable. These are perfect and even without my swollen toe I'd still buy them!

Finally a pair of casual summer shoes that can go anywhere. Something other than gym shoes or sandals. Very comfortable for walking all over the place.

Best shoes ever , I put them on the minute I received them and have worn them every day, all day, Having ankle , and arch problems with my left foot, this never happens. Great shoe, good looking and oh so comfortable. Highly recommend

This is my third pair. I love them. They are perfect for those days you are walking a lot, but don't want to wear running shoes or sneakers. The sides adjacent to the bones on either side of my ankle are cut lower. This companies other loafer styles rub on those knobby bones.

These shoes are super cute and were comfortable from the moment I put them on my feet. Love them!

These are great light weight shoes. I did remove the insoles and replace them with SuperFeet to provide a bit more support. Easy to slip on and off, would be great for travel.

Olukai is my favorite brand of shoes because I have slightly wide, almost flat feet. I love all of the ones I own, but this is my all time favorite pair. They're extremely comfortable and breathable; a great alternative to sandals. They totally conform to my feet, like a second skin. Keep in mind that you probably won't be able to wear socks with these. I wear thin, no show socks with my other shoes (all size 7) but these won't go on with socks.

So comfortable! I will order another color!

A nice casual shoe. Can’t wait for warmer weather when I can wear these more often.

These are my second pair of the mesh okukai. Only thing I dislike is if I walk in any water, the mesh wicks up the water and leaves a water mark/stain. Living in South Georgia it rains everyday! I don't have the problem with the black because of the color. But I still love them, I just rinse them off after every wear!

So comfortable and functional! I am looking forward to these as a summer shoe when I need to slip something on, but don't want to wear sandals. They are nice and cool and will dry quickly. I'm usually between a 6.5 and 7, and ended up with the 7 in these. The 6.5 were just a little too snug, and even though others said they'd stretch, the 7s I can wear right out of the box with no worry of blisters. I've tried sperrys with no success, all gave me blisters, so this will be a nice change!

So comfortable.

I needed a pair shoes with proper boat shoe soles, but have joint issues in my feet which prevent me from wearing the majority of shoes. Most boat shoes are either leather or very stiff canvas and have no give around the toes and top of the foot. These shoes are perfect, they fit well and the mesh material is just flexible enough to be very comfortable. The mesh material also keeps my feet cooler than typical closed shoes. I love them!

These are so cute and perfect for summer. They are soft and cool--and the little bit of color in the gore is a nice touch. They are pretty flat--essentially no arch--but perfect for hanging around. I bought my regular shoe size which fits fine with or without light socks.

Ahhh. Finally a shoe that is truly comfortable and nice-looking. Love that it is a slip-on. I will live in these over the summer.

I just bought these through another retailer, but like reviews on Zappos, so thought I'd leave mine. I love these! So squishy and comfy, great without socks or with a thin sock. Very cool and my feet don't slide around or feel squished. I was able to wear them straight away with no sore spots. I think this is my new favorite shoe.

Bought these for my wife who saw them in a shopping plaza loved them but didn't want to spend the money on them at the time. She was surprised when she got them and states they are very comfortable and fit true to size.

These shoes are easy and casual cute; love the collapsible heel and decent arch support. The soles feel thin though, I would buy more pairs if they were just a little more stout. My feet get tired in them after awhile, especially if I have to walk on a hard surface, like concrete. But otherwise great for kicking around in.
