I usually wear a 14 or 15 depending on brand. Merrells are always a good, comfortable, and reliable fit. These shoes are pretty awesome.

Ordered these a couple days before a trip to Asheville. Needed something between urban and light hiking. I did have to add my Powerstep insoles to get the arch and support I need, but I have to do that with any shoe. Barely noticed I was wearing these on my trip and we were on our feet all day. Love them, and since I’m a 15, I ordered another pair while still available.

I ordered the black Burnt Rock, they fit great and are true to size. I usually wear a size 9, and that is what I ordered and they are the correct size. They are comfortable out of the box, and don't seem to need much break-in. Like other Merrells I've purchased, these are good looking and well built. One small complaint, the right shoe occasionally squeaks because the liner in the shoe rubs against the inside of the shoe. If I take the liner out and reposition it inside the shoe that stops the squeak. It seems I do this perhaps every other time I wear the shoes. This is not a problem, just a little annoying. Would buy these again, I am very happy with these shoes.

Very happy with this shoe. It looks good, feels good. I wear a size 13 and half the time they are cut short but these fit perfect. Even in my size it's an attractive shoe. Merrell has always made good walking shoes. Recommended.

Nice looking shoe. I normally wear a 12 and ordered a 12 and it fits great. I have a wide foot and this shoe feels plenty wide enough. I had to wear them for a couple of days before they did not feel so stiff but they broke in nice. The only thing I wish is they breathed a little because they get really warm but other than that I'm really happy with this purchase.

Great style and great shoe - really comfortable and Merrill quality. I am really impressed to find this kind of style from Merrill. I'd say the fit as expected to my size 9.5 feet.

Very frustrating, something has changed with Merrill! Not fitting very well.

I base my rating for shoes mostly on comfort and a cushioned sole. Merrells have always been awesome in this regards in my experience, but these are totally not. I even bought some cushiony inserts, but they didn't help much. However, they seem to be very well built which Merrells have always been. If you like a cozy and cushiony shoe, I do not recommend these. Merrells have been so reliable in the past, that I wore them outside without doubting their comfort, but I don't like them so I'm donating them to charity since I wore them outside and can't return them.

I find Merrell shoes are typically very comfortable right out of the box, so I bought these without hesitation. Found out after I wore them a little that there is zero arch support. Wish I could return them.
