I absolutely LOVED the look of these, and they were so cute on... but I couldn't walk in them. They were so hard, like Dansko usually is, and the ankle strap cut into both sides of your ankle bone, the buckle made it worse. Tried to loosed the adjustable strap, but then the strap just moved up and down your ankle as you step, chafing and digging with each step.

I've had these shoes for about a month now and they are so comfortable! I normally can't wear heals, but these are completely stable and don't give me any knee or back discomfort. These shoes are stylish, versatile, and well made. I love that the straps around the ankle are actually velcro! Nobody likes fussing with a buckle every time they want to take their shoes on or off. 5 stars!

More comfortable than I thought they'd be. My knees are shot, so the only 'heels' I can wear are platforms that minimize pitch on my knees. These feel good, Plenty of shock absorption in the platform and good support for my high arches, The strap didn't hit me on the ankle bone like some reviewers. The Velcro fastener was unexpected given buckle in picture. The buckle is decorative only. Haven't really done any heavy walking but so far so good.

I absolutely love this shoe. I was a little hesitant with some of the reviews concerning width and comfort, but I went ahead and purchased them anyway. My thought was that I would return them if the fit wasn't right. But no need to fret, these shoes fit comfortably and the width is perfect. As a matter of fact, they are right on the spot because sometimes I find that Dansko runs wide and these do not run wide at all. The are sleek, stylish, supporting and comfortable. I am going to order another color to add to my collection. I love them!

These shoes were my go-to for the summer season. Even more comfortable than the regular dansko model. The platform and rocker sole made these comfortable enough for me to commute in - walking to-from the train etc. Great with dresses and long pants. Highly recommend!

To say I have problem feet is the understatement of the year. I have fallen arches, morton's foot and hallux limitus in one big toe. This makes it next to impossible to find shoes of any kind. They can't be flat, they can't have a heel and they can't be flexible. These somehow seem to be a sweet spot for me! Despite the slight heel, the shoe is supportive enough that it takes pressure off my forefeet and keeps it on my heels instead. These are a godsend! I have cried over how hard it is for me to find shoes. I'm 35 and it kills me not to be able to wear trendy shoes. Thank you Dansko for making a supportive shoe that's youthful too! And thank you Zappos for giving me the opportunity to try so many shoes!

Buckle Solution. I noticed people thought the ankle strap was uncomfortable because of the way the faux buckle hits their ankle. I just took it off!!!! I took a single decorative button and sewed it on through two of the holes. Looks stylish and no buckle on ankle bone problem. Most comfortable shoe I have worn in years. But if I hadn't been able to remove that buckle - I would have sent them back :-(

I cannot stand how great these shoes are. So stylish. So comfortable. I'll admit that I haven't worn them walking any distance yet, but I certainly don't feel any rubbing places wearing them around the office. And even though I have a bad back and have mostly sworn off heels of any kind, I can wear these and feel totally supported and balanced. The silver leather will be very versatile - black pants, blue jeans, skirts. $140 is a huge chunk of my shoe budget, so I won't be buying any other shoes for awhile, but it's worth it to add such a stunning pair of shoes to my wardrobe. These are great. I wear a size 11 and the 42's are perfect.

I would have loved to try on but the 39 I bought I couldn't get my entire foot in the shoe way to narrow! I usually wear 81/2-9. Going back:-(

Sad that I have to send them back! Love the shoe, they run narrow in the toe box area. I don't have a wide foot.

Too small and narrow, color was as pictured.

These looked terrific and very comfortable however my foot would shift to the side when I tried to wear them. Unfortunately, I need to return them and look for something else.

Very nice looking and comfortable show, however, I missed that the strap is Velcro.

Very cute for Dansko. The Velcro strap takes some getting used to. But great support.

This shoe did not fit me at all. The upper sides gapped away from my foot and the buckles hit right at my ankle bone. The footbed was nice, but the rest of it was not a good-fitting shoe. And I so wanted to like this shoe!

I don't know if the size was incorrectly printed on the shoe, or what, but this 40 fits like a 37! So, to be fair, I can't review the shoe. If it is, in fact, a "40", Let the Buyer Beware.
